In the morning, the party (Idky, Yavin, Athos, Artec, Hamish, Katya, Kinsa, Sabrina, and Ishmopah) leaves the chamber and returns to the mud room. Idky conjures an earth elemental, which starts decaying at ten times the normal rate. Working quickly, they have it clear a path to the mud-blocked door and other paths around the room. It then smashes the door open. The passage beyond is full of water, and there’s a “beach” of silt in a room at the end of the passage.
Idky airwalks into the room with light. He hears a sweet, melodious voice coming from nowhere. Light seems to flow from everywhere as if from soft moonlight. It’s a very pretty beach scene. He casts detect evil. As he casts, he notices the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen on the beach. She is singing in some unknown language. The spell reveals that she is evil. He makes his way back to the party and sends the elemental in to attack the creature. She is no match for it and gets pounded to a pulp.
Idky returns the check and finds that the pristine scene was all an illusion. Artec ferries everyone across to the room. They open one of the doors out of the room. It leads down a short flight of stairs into a small watery room. The mud here is whitish and has a burning smell. Idky checks out the room and finds another door leading out. As he Idky tries to open the door, a strange type of water weird rises out of the liquid behind him. It enwraps him, and it becomes evident that it is made of lye. He starts taking some corrosive damage. The quick-thinking Kinsa casts purify water, dispelling the thing. She casts another, which changes it into pure water.
Idky opens the door, and the passage leads them the flooded room with the kraken. They head back to the room with the beach. Yavin purifies the water here so it’s now clear. About the middle of the room, there is a deep niche under the water with glittery things. Athos and Artec dive down to drag it all up.

As they’re dealing with the treasure, the party notices a small velociraptor in the muddy room. The creature is hesitant to come into the water-filled passageway, so Yavin practices his mesmerize ability, which doesn’t work on it. He throws his fiery battleaxe at it, and it runs away.
Artec opens the other door, and water rushes from the room into the passageway beyond. The passageway leads to stairs up and then to a double-door. They open into a long hallway. The walls are covered with frescoes. Some show lizardmen building a nation. With them are frogmen and other different types of lizardmen. To get there they crossed mountains and seas. Serpents in skies are guiding them. The entire room glows with daylight. On the other side, the lizardmen are battling gnolls, drow, bronze-skinned humans, teal-skinned tall humanoid creatures, and aarakocra. They locate and disarm a mechanical trap at the end of the hallway.
They go over to the caved-in passage and conjure another earth elemental to clear it out. It clears out a small section leading down before it dissolves. Idky has to use stone shapes to brace the ceiling.
They decide to leave the pyramid and prepare for the shock with aid spells, bless, and prayer. Kinsa, Dagaru, Artec, Yavin, and Sabrina collapse upon leaving. They set up camp. Yavin wakes up a day later and contacts Borlon. He had given them up for dead. From his standpoint, they’ve been gone a MONTH! Unfortunately, their mission isn’t done yet.
Borlon takes the ones still unconscious to the city to tend to them while the rest go back in. They are attacked by two vicious geckos! After a long, drawn out three seconds, the party moves on. Detect evil throughout the already explored areas reveals no evil left.
As Yavin periodically scans for their other party members, in case they come back, he brushes against the mind of the entity he spoke with earlier. It tells him that they need to be heading up. So they start having Athos check for secret doors. He finds none, but Katiya (lucky bitch!) finds one in the last hallway with the frescoes. It took them 20 hours. By that time, their friends return and rejoin them inside the pyramid.
Next game, Idky starts down one detect evil and Yavin one find traps.
