Major Garlok Drake, Prince of Amberwood (with the help of Pope Hazem of Veluna and King Nathan of Furyondy as well as Arch-Duchess Damelia Saint-Karlon and Countess Katarina of Walworth) has gathered a party together in order to rescue a couple of important POWs, including Duke Exvyn Lyonnain de Furyondy and Count Holmer of Walworth (cousin of the Countess). Garlok was chosen because he's not only a Major in the army of Furyondy, but he has already infiltrated Dorakaa once. Garlok in turn tapped "Helena" as she was his info-source and spy-master and she tapped Anasta. Pudic and Aerone get tapped by Black Robe, while Rufus is asked by Arianna in support of Damelia, and so on...
As mentioned earlier, because two governments are putting this together IN SECRET, each character can have ANY AND ALL normal equipment desired, plus will get additional treasure based on level, alignment, and history. Cold wrought iron weapons are HIGHLY suggested for fighting demons as are silver ones for undead.
You'll also get as much spell support as the Church (of Angellus) can muster as well as spells from cleric of Heironius, Ilmatar, St Cuthbert, and even Athena, so feel free to ask! Obviously, your character MUST be okay swearing to keep this mission a secret and must be okay working with the two most LG nations/rulers on the continent.
This mission is a STEALTH mission. You need to sneak in WITHOUT attracting attention. A second party will arrive about 12 hours after you do. They do NOT know you are there and will be storming the place with extreme prejudice; fireballs, ice storms, and death spells could start flying. They will be your distraction; with all eyes on multiple saints and holders of a divine spark, Iuz and his minions should totally have their focus there and not on you (think Aragorn's attack on the Black Gate to buy Frodo time at the end of Return of the King). Since this is a covert adventure, each PC will need to find a way to blend in and NOT attract attention; you cannot fight an entire city run by a demi-god! This is why elves and hobbits are NOT a good idea -- none work for Iuz and any would stand out. Humans and monster-types are ideal.
After the previous raid on Dorakaa, Iuz has erected certain magical barriers in the form of a perpetual cloud of light-swallowing darkness. While good for drow, any error-based movement magic (teleport, dimensional fold, etc) is now totally unreliable within a 20 mile radius of the city. That means the party will be transported outside this zone and they will have to hike in using one of the Skull Roads -- roads with various magical skulls with strange, arcane, dark powers and orc-manned and demon-supported guard towers every half-dozen miles. Use and display of Good-aligned or holy anything is NOT suggested...
Garlok and "Helena" are aware of an entry into Iuz' dungeons through the sewers near the docks. Other options are also available and you're free to come up with any other plan you would like. You do NOT have time to rest, however, as 12 hours after you start the mission, you will need to be in position to take advantage of the second party's assault/distraction. Ideally, if you can walk one of the Skull Roads without incident, you should reach the city in about 8 hours, leaving a little time to catch your breath, scout, and plan out your infiltration.
You are on your own to get out. No one has ever broken out of Old Wicked's jails before, but then, prior to Garlok's earlier mission, no one had ever raided Dorakaa's inner sanctum before either... Success in this mission -- rescuing Duke Exvyn and Count Holmer -- will mean that you have the good will of both Hazem and Nathan as well as their governments and the other major figures in this drama. In addition, each PC will be granted 3000gp and a title commensurate with the character's achievements, with all the social level and fame that entails. That alone is huge...
As I see it, the following PCs have signed on for this mission:
Prince Garlok Drake -- 7th/8th lvl incognito half-elf fighter with some stealth/acrobatics
"Helena" -- 6th lvl psionist telepath and primo info gatherer (aka Tandris)
Anasta -- 6th lvl psionist bio with healing and shapeshift that even fools demons/mages
Sir Mizzrie of the Wild March -- 6th/6th drow fighter/cleric of Eilistraee
Aerone -- 5th lvl paladin and general demon-attractor
Pudic -- 5th lvl ranger and general orc-slayer and hold-person victim
Rufus -- 9th mariner and Hero of Abydos
Dion -- 9th lvl cleric of Apollo
Brock -- 6th lvl cleric of Kord the Brawler and ESPN junkie OR
Tony -- 9th lvl teenage ranger who can fly
and possibly...
Skye -- 7th lvl salamander fighter
Jellie -- 8th lvl illusionist
As mentioned earlier, because two governments are putting this together IN SECRET, each character can have ANY AND ALL normal equipment desired, plus will get additional treasure based on level, alignment, and history. Cold wrought iron weapons are HIGHLY suggested for fighting demons as are silver ones for undead.

- Each CLERIC is given two additional potions of extra-healing, two scrolls of dispel magic, a scroll of heal, cure critical wounds, cure serious wounds, and neutralize poison, a scroll of disrupt undead, and a scroll of remove curse.

- The PARTY (in care of Garlok) is given FIVE scrolls of plane shift, a scroll of free action and remove paralysis, a scroll of cloak of bravery, flame strike, and heal, a potion of vitality, an elixir of health, and all the holy water they DARE to take along (it is suggested only one of two people carry it and inconspicuously at that!).
- Each PC who has served Furyondy in the past (Garlok, Aerone, Pudic, and even "Helena" and Mizzrie [as a Knight of the Wild March]) is given 1500gp worth of "credit" to purchase any additional potions or scrolls from Greyhawk's Mages' Guild.
- Each PC is also given a heroes feast cast by Pope Hazem herself. In addition to the best meal the character has ever had, the character will enjoy for 12 hours immunity to disease, fear, panic, hopelessnes, and will act as a bless (+1 to hit and saves).

- Any Good character may expect any reasonable clerical spell available to the faiths supporting this mission (Angellus, Heironius, St Cuthbert, St Pelinor, Ilmatar, Phaulkon, etc).
- The PARTY will also have access to some mage spells, although the higher level PCs will get priority.
You'll also get as much spell support as the Church (of Angellus) can muster as well as spells from cleric of Heironius, Ilmatar, St Cuthbert, and even Athena, so feel free to ask!
