The battle against the forces of Iuz continues...
Helga emerges next to Cliffy from the portable house and helps against a zombie. Tetsuko takes out a gnoll and one of the succubi. Dobby flies above the combat and starts peppering Tarnna’s foes with arrows, starting with one of the humans in plate mail. Tyri=Flare ice storms Tarnna’s foes, clearing all of them off of her. Torr air runs up to help out his father against the nabassu and kills it. He then rushes off to take on the incoming babau. Ichi kills two rutterkin and the cleric next to Tyris=Flare.
Moonlight moves in closer to Maedhros’ protection from evil and starts casting call lightning. Moorak also moves into the protection and casts Moorak’s anchor bolstered by a penetrate resistance. Maedhros also puts up another anchor. Nothing else is teleporting in...almost. Saanau casts web at the orcs and orogs coming from between the buildings. Tarnna runs to take on the orcs emerging from the ruins.
The remaining orcs go for Tarnna, Tyris=Flare, and Moorak. Two babau go for Tetsuko, while the rest plus the marilith swarm Torr. The flying babau slam into her protection from magic and have to land.The marilith is armed with: two tridents (one poisoned), a spear, a dagger, a battleaxe, and a quarter staff. It misses Torr on all of her attacks. Whew! Tarnna, however, doesn’t fare so well, as the babau knocks her down.
One vrock goes to attack Torr. The other flies to attack Tyris=Flare . . . and flies away screaming in fear. The type II demon attacks Ichi but fumbles badly. The succubus on the top of the building attempts to suggest that Cliffy run off to help Torr against demons. He tells her to go fuck herself.
Seventeen more orcs crawl from the rubble. Another vargouille floats in. And a troll arrives. Six fantastically strong orogs also dig out of the rubble. Four more strong-looking humans in black armor also emerge. Meanwhile, demons are attempting to teleport in but can’t get past the multiple Moorak’s anchors.
Saanau casts Melf’s acid arrow on a troll and misses. Cliffy magic missiles his foes and clears off one skeleton. Maedhros refreshes his prayer. Ichi kills his type II demon and runs to take on the babau on Tarnna. Moorak casts improved doomblade on Torr's holy sword which allows the paladin to take out the marilith with one blow. Tyris=Flare ice storms the monsters coming out of the rubble, killing the orcs. Dobby kills the vargouille with a single arrow and clears an orc off Tarnna.
The succubus tries to charm Torr. His response: “Yes, mistress? How shall I slay you?”
The opponents from the building start swarming the party. Dobby takes off the orc and a fighter who are menacing the spellcasters. Tyris=Flare runs over to help out Tetsuko, killing the babau. Maedhros dusts the skeleton and turns the juju zombie who had been menacing Cliffy. Moorak jumps into melee to help Torr and Helga. Saanau uses pierce magic resistance and magic missiles on Ichi’s babau, killing it. Cliffy magic missiles the orog and human on him, damaging but not killing either.
One of the human fighters strikes Moonlight, disrupting his call lightning. Eighteen orcs and two orogs try to enter, but they’re on the other side of the web and have to hack their way through. Some wererats run out of the building and away from the combat. The succubus attempts to charm Helga, who resists. Six ogres and six orogs arrive. Cliffy gets dropped by an orog.

Ichi picks up Tarnna and brings her to the spell casters. Then he kills the orog there. Tryis=Flare moves over to help out with Moorak and Torr’s battle, fearing one babau and one human fighter. Moorak runs over to cast time heal on Tarnna, bringing her back to full health. Torr takes out another babau. Dobby starts firing arrows at the succubus, seriously messing her up. Tetsuko runs to assist with Torr’s fight, killing two orogs and the babau.
The succubus flees by jumping off the roof. A marilith and an old man (Iuz) pierce the anchor and teleport in. Iuz is surprised because he is expecting a ton of demons around him. Twenty-four orcs climb out of the ruins. Thirty-eight more also show up from elsewhere.
Dobby fires an arrow at Iuz, who catches it and hurls it back. Tyris=Flare ice storms one group of orcs, killing all of them. Tetsuko runs to attack Iuz. Ichi starts running through the orcs and orogs. Body parts are flying all over the place. Torr aids himself. Tetsuko attacks Iuz, badly damaging him. Tarnna runs over to attack Iuz and lops off his head with a vorpal blade. Saanau wizard’s wraths the marilith with pierce magic resistance, but it doesn’t get past her resistance. Maedhros brings Cliffy back up with cure light wounds.
However, emerging from Iuz’ body is his demon form. It is stunned, however. Tarnna killed his human form but his cambion form still survives. A nabassu flies in and moves to protect his god. The nabassu attempts to steal Tetsuko’s soul, but her protection from magic saves her. Twenty-one more orcs show up behind the web. Three vargouille swoop in. A rutterkin shows up and runs away when he sees that Iuz’ human form has been slain. Three ghasts also show up. A 7th-level fighter emerges from the ruins.

Moonlight casts wall of fire on the web, forming a wall against the incoming orcs and kills all stuck in the web. It also starts incinerating the body of the cleric who cast the opposing prayer. Moorak casts improved doomblade on Torr, who runs to attack Iuz invoking the law of loregiver. He brings Iuz near death. Tyris=Flare casts power word kill at the opponents surrounding Iuz. It nearly kills Iuz as well, but he is able to resist. He now has no defenders. Dobby kills the vargouilles. Tetsuko finishes him off. The entire party is now struck with unholy word. Everyone in the party is stunned, except Moorak, Tetsuko, Helga, Saanau, and Ichi. Moorak is deafened. Helga flies up to the nabassu and starts to attack.
As the evil from Iuz spews forth from his dead form, the cloud of darkness above the city dissipates and sunlight pours into the city. Vampires and drow scream in pain. Spectres and shadows look for places to hide. All clerics lose their power.
The nabassu reaches into his mouth and pulls out a soul to hurl at Tetsuko. But her protection from magic saves her. The human fighters start going for downed party members. Tyris=Flare kills one before he can reach one.
A marilith and a glabrezu pierce the anchor and teleport in. Fifteen gnolls, twenty-one orcs, a nabassu, three clerics, two mages, a warrior, a vrock, four rutterkin, three juju zombie, two ghasts, three orogs arrive. One of them brings down the wall of fire.
A wizard casts lightning bolt at Helga, who redirects it at the incoming gnolls, killing all of them. A cleric tries to cast flame strike, but nothing happens. A nabassu tries to attack Moonlight, because he’s within the protection from evil.

Tyris=Flare casts a fireball at the large party that showed up behind the wall of fire. The humans seem to have some protection from fire, though most of the rest of the group are outright killed or badly damaged. Ichi continues to mow through orcs. Moorak saves Cliffy from the orc menacing him. Saanau lightning bolts the group with the tough humans. Two are protected by a minor globe of invulnerability, and they are the only ones to survive.

The troll, which was down regenerates enough to stand back up. The glabrezu attempts to psychic crush Tetsuko but misses. One of the mages casts Evard’s black tentacles. Nine tentacles appear and target various party members, demons, and dead bodies. Fortunately, only a few get grabbed. The cleric casts flame strike at Saanau from a scroll.
The orcs move on Maedhros, Moorak, Tarnna, Moonlight, and Tetsuko. A glabrezu, two vargouille, and two babau arrive. A death squad also comes in (three clerics and a half-orc fighter) with four juju zombies. One of the clerics shoots a gush of acid at Saanau from a huge black staff. It also causes a rain of acid on everyone around her, including the demons and orcs. Another cleric uses a bone wand to spray teeth at Tetsuko. It doesn’t affect her but hits the orcs and demons.
Saanau casts IMM at a number of orcs over by Moorak and the other spellcasters. Moorak is now disengaged, so he casts firebreath off a scroll at the death squad. It kills the jujus and stuns the clerics. Ichi takes on the fighter. Tetsuko kills the glabrezu and the vrock. She then attacks the cleric who’s standing with the mage. Tyris=Flare ice storms the remaining members of the other death squad, killing the lower level clerics. Helga finishes off one of her nabassu.
The cleric facing Tetsuko finally sees her dead god and back away. The mage also backs away. The vargouille go after Saanau and one of the orcs. Fourteen orcs and three orogs emerge from another building. Two more vargouille float in, along with three ogres.
Tetsuko runs back to engage the babau attacking the stunned Tarnna. Ichi kills the half-orc fighter and goes for the cleric. This cleric has a cloak of displacement! But he kills him and moves on to kill the glabrezu. Tryis=Flare ice storms the incoming orcs and ogres, killing the orcs and stunning the ogres. Moorak casts a lightning bolt, killing almost all the remaining orcs and the ogres. Saanau casts magic missiles at her vargouille and babau, killing both.
At this point, the body of Iuz gets up and orders the orcs to slay themselves (thank you staff of Avanrakash!). The cleric that was fleeing pulls out a black staff and casts a fireball at the party. The mage polymorphs into a hawk and flies off. The remaining nabassu flies off. The babau thinks he can be victorious and stays to fight. A glabrezu teleports in, and another glabrezu and a babau fly in. Four ogres, a vargouille, and a bar-ligura also arrive.
Saanau pulls out her wand and shoots magic missiles and kills two vargouille. Moorak casts lightning bolt at the incoming group and the cleric who fireballed them. It kills the ogres and cleric and stuns the bar-ligura. Ichi goes to take on some other incoming demons. He stuns the glabrezu and kills the babau. Helga flies down to join the party on the ground to lure the babau down. Tetsuko goes to finish off Ichi’s demons.

Fortunately, it doesn’t kill her, and she heals normally. Tyris=Flare ice storms the incoming bar-ligura and troll. The bar-ligura dies. Ichi kills the stunned bar-ligura and then starts gathering up demon weapons.

Two bar-ligura and a fomorian giant show up. The hill giants come with them. They hurl boulders as they come in. The babau casts heat metal at the party, but it doesn’t affect anyone.
Cliffy gets his portable house out and prepares to have people enter. Saanau keeps shooting the babau. Moorak lightning bolts the incoming giants, using his gauntlets of the valorous. It kills one and badly damages the others. A hill giant appears behind the babau and attacks. Unfortunately, the babau’s magic resistance makes him not fooled by this illusion from the staff of Avanrakash. Saanau puts up a wall of fire to block off the trolls. Tyris=Flare ice storms the giants. Dobby picks up a sword and Iuz’ human head. Tetsuko takes Torr into the house. Helga enters the house. Tyris=Flare grabs more weapons. Tarnna grabs the cloak of displacement. The rest get into the house. Saanau takes Tyris=Flare and teleports away.
