Black Robe gathers a second group of heroes to attack an orcish cavern-complex. This band, transported by the shaman himself, includes Namunhi elven cleric/fighter of Corellon Larethian, Torgar dwarven cleric/warsmith of Moradin, Bobby Socks hobbit archer, Joe half-elven fighter/transmuter, Erik witch of Hecate and his familiar Faust, Alyssana elven thief, and Brandy Foxwalker hobbit shaman with her grizzly-bear guardian Oskino.
The heroes come up with a great plan to get in and take out all of the orcs on watch. They then proceed to slowly draw off and fight the bulk of the orcish forces in the surrounding caverns. Things start looking bad...until the witch animates the dead orcs to fight the live ones... Needless to say, most of the rest of the party is not happy with Erik, though he spends the rest of the mission saving their lives through a combination of first aid and magical healing. Joe proves to be an amazing asset, combining native strength, toughness, and transmutational magic to devastating effect -- when was the last time a spell-caster boxed out a dozen orcs? After slaying a horde of orcs as well as many orogs, the heroes are forced to retreat.
