Mang gathers together a party for the purpose of raiding the Underdark for adamantium. The dwarf gets the drow princess, Kennibrae and her lion-friend, Aslan, to guide the group to the point she escaped from the Underdark. Joining them are Wooden Thighs, one of the heroes that originally rescued her as well as the Arch-Druid, Gamoth of Ki, and his tigress companion, Ashtabular, and carnivorous ape protégé, Leia. Corvin Oakmead the dwarven lord outside of Klarr also goes along for the mission. Rounding out the party are Bjork and Stephan.
The access point to the Underdark is now the lair of a community of troglodytes, but the heroes make very short work of the lot. Entering the sealed tunnels, the heroes journey five days, battling a scouting party of bugbears, an entire lair of bugbears, and a giant slug, before finally arriving at a Drow checkpoint, where they regroup and plan their next move...
