I actually agree with Uncle David on this one, the cheapest pick here is probably worth about 1500 gp, so i think 1k in gems is cool

1) where is the armor Svala is wearing? i'd love to have that, but i don't know it's name
2) if the armor is not available, the +1 gauntlet she's wearing will suffice.

Angela, the armor is actually Bob's, so it's up to him to give it to you. I'm going to assume you'll take the gauntlet at least. Dion, you only took one scroll, so you should get another minor pic (scroll or potion). Or, to keep with the theme, one item of jewelry -- Cliffy should be able to attest that even a simple potion of healing would cost you 800gp to buy... Agreed that it's tough, but it's not a permanent item and we normally let folks take two non-perms (when we know) to make up for it. Much like 1000gp of treasure or any one non-magical item. Not at all trying to change the rules; just trying to be fair to Gordon/Dion. Not to mention, since it's his scroll, most likely it'll be used for the benefit of another party member...
