The heroes (Cliffy, Dion, Mikhail, Dajamira, Helga, Bob, Minasti, Anwar, River, Moonlight, and Svala) continued their assault on the orcish fortress, now entering the underground bunker/caverns..
The heroes charged in, lead by Helga and Bob. Unfortunately, a vrock used its telekinesis to grab the dwarven warrior and suspend her in the air, a target for nearly a dozen orcish archers. Meanwhile, a mass of nearly three dozen manes swarmed the fighters, keeping them from the dwarf. Moonlight invoked his staff, the illusion of a TWENTY headed hydra appearing and slaughtering the near-mindless manes. Daj then tossed a web spell on Helga in order to prevent the dwarf from dying from arrow fire. The other heroes charged forward and managed to regroup, although a hill giant joined the fray with many more orcs. In the end, the heroes fought their way through, mowing through several dozen orcs and their demonic and jotun allies, although a few orcs fled the battle.
The heroes did a quick search of the first level, checking out every room before descending to the second level where they encountered the orcs who'd fled -- including a priest of Iuz. River put a couple of arrows in the cleric, which cramp his style and ended the orc's life. The heroes continued to the next room and after battling more foes, decided discretion as the better part of valor. But they left an impressive body count in their wake...
After tending to their wounds, the party's status is:

Bob: 16 of 80 and STILL grousing about needing a hand
Minosti: 1 of 23
River: 8 of 57
