Howdy everyone.
I was just wondering if it would be possible to have a druid who's focus ecosystem is space. Because druids are aloud to warship concepts, if there where to be a spelljammer who warships the great void of space, a natural place, would they be able to get spells and advance?
thanks

Howdy Aaron,
Alas, but space is NOT a thriving ecosystem. Druids are allowed to worship the concept of nature, much like a mystic, but in those cases the druid only gets spells in places where their concept of nature is "healthy". The same applies, BTW, to shaman as well.
So, even a druid like Mikhail or Moonlight would lose spells on certain worlds where the ecosystem is weak or dying or otherwise compromised. On Charn, were it not for all the spirits running around and the history of shaman on the world, I would have restricted the 'Beaver from his higher level spells. Similarly, a druid on a planet like Gamma World would find his higher level spells off-line.
In space, where there aren't anything more complex that transitory viruses born on worlds and moving through the void, it would be really hard to imagine a valid concept of a living ecosystem. Sure, the stars and planets are doing their thing, but that's a bit too big a scale for a druid, I think.
