Lowdog dreams overnight about what Sidra is up to: she's back in her seat of power gathering forces to kidnap the princess. A horde of ghouls are scratching at the walls of the shelter and a horde of shadows hover at the edge of the ward spirits.
Upon opening the door, Torr turns, vaping a skeleton and three ghouls. Treblo immediately then casts a lightning bolt into the crowd, destroying 19 ghouls. Ichi and Lowdog rush out after the lightning bolt to engage what's left and keep them from coming into the shelter. Torr stays right behind them inside, continuing to turn.
Ichi immediately gets his spine ripped out and goes down. One of the gunner ghouls tries to shoot at the downed Ichi but misses horribly. Another gunner shoots at Treblo and also misses.
Treblo casts chain lightning on the group outside, destroying 13. Torr smokes three ghouls at the entry. Lowdog blocks the hole. Idky casts cure critical wounds on Ichi, bringing him back up.
More ghouls swarm in. Torr turns two more. Idky and Lowdog take out the ghouls on them. Treblo lobs a fireball on a group of ghouls, destroying about a dozen. Aurora magic missiles a shooter, destroying it.
Another gunner ghoul shoots Lowdog. Four more ghouls swarm on Ichi. And the rest of the ghouls come around to the front of the shelter to try to get in on the action.
Ichi continues to mow through his ghouls. Treblo casts another chain lightning, destroying twelve, but the lightning actually ends up hitting Torr; luckily the paladin's magic resistance from his holy sword ends the spell. Torr obliterates four more ghouls. Aurora magic missiles a shooter ghoul, destroying it (no more shooters!).
Ichi and Lowdog get swarmed again, but they continue hacking away at them. Torr dusts a zombie and ten ghouls.
Torr dusts the rest of the ghouls and turns four shadows. Treblo casts lightning bolts at the fleeing shadows, destroying three and unturning one.
Idky walks outside and starts casting call lightning. In the meantime, the gang starts attacking the shadows at the border.
Ichi gets critically hit, slowing him down a bit. Lowdog destroys the first shadow. Aurora magic missiles the two shadows on Torr and Ichi, taking them out. Treblo magic missiles another two shadows.
Shadows move in on the fighters to replace their downed comrades. Treblo magic missiles Torr's shadows, destroying them both. The last three shadows are quickly obliterated by the fighters.
Now they wait for more undead as 'Beaver bandages wounds and heals the fighters
Thirty minutes later . . .
eleven ghouls show up and Torr turns eight. Ichi and Lowdog run to attack the remaining three. They make quick work of them
Nine more ghouls show up. Torr and Idky both act, and they get dusted as lightning strikes
As the princess goes off to take a pee, the group hears her scream. Ichi senses 4 invisible stalkers pounce on the princess outside. Idky casts protection from evil 10'r, as the princess tries to run back to the group's hiding place. The princess makes it into Torr's aura. Treblo casts detect magic to see where they are
Ichi runs to attack
Two stalkers run in and hit the twin protections from evil. Idky faerie fires two of the stalkers (damn magic resistance!). Ichi decides to start attacking the stalkers with his bare hands and finds it works quite well. He destroys one in three hits. Torr rushes to attack a non-faerie fired stalker as Lowdog takes the other one. Idky pulls the princess over to him to keep her in the protection.
Lowdog obliterates his stalker and goes to help out Ichi. Ichi takes out his second one and helps out Torr, killing the last one

90 minutes after the last battle, five shadows show up. Treblo lightning bolts them, destroying them all.

Eight more ghouls, which Torr vapes
Nine more ghouls. Torr dusts seven. Ichi and Lowdog take care of the remaining two
39 ghouls show up. Torr turns six. Treblo fireballs, destroys all but 15. Aurora casts hold undead, catching two.
Ichi, Lowdog, and Zayüß form a fighting line, and they get swarmed. Four move past them to the rest of the party.
Torr destroys seven of them, freeing up Idky and Zayüß. Idky and Treblo start attacking Treblo's. Torr destroys the rest.
A few minutes later, 17 ghouls show up. Torr turns 10. Another fighting line is formed. Two get past the line, and Idky and Aurora each get a ghoul. Aurora gets hit, and a green pulse comes off her (yay!).
A ghouls ends up breaking Zayüß's leg. Torr gets mad and dusts the ghouls on his horse.
Idky cures Zayüß' crit, bringing him back up
It's now getting dark

The front line this time is just Ichi and Lowdog. Ichi gets first blood again. Treblo cast shock bolt.
Two ghouls make it past the line, one going for Zayüß and another for Aurora. Aurora shoots hers. Torr dusts the rest.
Three harpies show up and sing, charming Treblo. Ichi flies up on his broom to meet them. Idky wastes a free action on Treblo, not realizing it doesn't work on charms. Ichi kills one. Aurora shoots one out of the sky, and it plunges to its death. Ichi kills the last one.
The spirit of the city shows up, very pleased with their work. He releases them from their service to him.

Lowdog sips the pale yellow potion. It's demon rum!! He feels intense pain as something tries to claw its way out of him. Lowdog starts bleeding out of his mouth and goes down in agony. Not really knowing what to do, Idky checks on him and heals him. But the thing keeps digging its way out. Eventually, it claws its way out. It's a little demon familiar that looks like him
Torr lays on hands to seal up his abdominal rupture
Lowdog kills his little familiar

Wishful thinking, I know. Of course, 'Beaver could also lend him his gloves so he'd get a better chance to hit and do even more damage.
