Bartholomew, Gilgamesh, Olaf, Kirby, Starglow, Gerhardt, Philippe the mouse, Ennui meet outside log cabin at the norhtern edge of the town of Two Ford.
Group of cloaked hooded figures approach. A goblin introduces himself as Ahriman and says that he and his allies are looking for heroes to help. Their merchant colony was attacked by brigands and forced out of their home. Brigands are big frogs--bullywugs; 50 or so bullywugs at least have taken over the goblin warrens and wiped most of the goblins out.
"Negotiations" ensue with a tetative agreement worked out.
The heroes arrive at the warrens and face a huge group of at least twenty bullywugs. The group begins attacking and Starglow sleeps five. Ennui gets knocked unconscious. Starglow sleeps the remainder.
Three more six-foot tall bullywugs rush in and surprises most of the party as they leap on three members. They begin croaking loudly. The fighters (Kirby, Olaf, and Gilgamesh the tiger) make short work of the frog-men and together the heroes kill the sleeping bullywugs (mercy? what mercy?).
The group finds:
Pearl necklace of bad freshwater pearls 100 gp
Scroll: cursed, blindness
Pearl 100 gp
Scroll: mage spell (unknown)
Spear made of ice, and slowly melting
Phillippe checks the door and Kirby opens it. On the other side they find a ragged female wood elf, Skiera, obviously fighting and hiding from bullywugs. She almost attacks Kirby as he comes through and explains she had been doing business with Ahriman and his associates with the attack began.

As the group speaks, the elf sees someone dash down a side passage. The party pursues. Around a corner, the see a large yellow lizard with wings calling in the next room--a draconian. A swarm of bullywugs start to pour into the chamber. Gilgamesh pounces and is followed by Olaf and Kirby. Gerhardt moves to block the doorway and is attacked by bullwugs leaping to attack. As Gilgamesh kills the draconian, it turns to stone, trapping the cat's claws in the stone. Kirby, Olaf and Gerhardt fight their way into the room. Skiera sleeps six of the bullywugs (nice cleric!). Bart cracks the statue, freeing Gilgamesh. The remaining sleeping bullywugs are killed quickly

Skiera goes back to town to firm up "deal" with the goblin, escorted by Phillippe and Ennui.
Starglow reads cursed scroll and goes blind, forcing him to return to town as well (Gilgamesh caught up with Skiera). Group talks to Lord Blackfair. He feels the goblin is useful, though he doesn't care for him. He would appreciate our assistance. The Lord sponsors Gilean Nyrel and his sidekick Jacob to join the group. Jason, a cleric of Hades, also joins -- clearly, he and Bart have history...
The party makes an agreement with the goblins and returns to warrens. The party battles a wall of nearly 50 bullywugs with more pouring in! Jacob's psionic blast takes out ten as the party slowly mows through them. Ten more come in with a mustard-colored draconian. Jacob initiates telepathic contact with draconian and manages to actually dominate him, forcing him to leave the room. Later the psi is able to send him to attack one of the bullywugs, causing a fight. Olaf gets a spear through the belly and a bleeding wound.
The draconian attempts and fails to convince the attacking bullywugs that he was under outside control, then magic missiles Jacob. The bullywug don't believe him (or don't care!) and the draconian is forced to cast sleep on the attacking bullywugs as well as Olaf. More bullywugs swarm the draconian and kill him. It blows up and damages all the surrounding bullywugs
Eleven more bullywugs and an orange-colored draconian join the fight. A lucky blow breaks Gilgamesh's right rear leg at which point the party starts an organized retreat. Despite his wound,
Gilgamesh kills Jacob's opponent, freeing him to wake up Olaf. Two more bullywugs show up.
Olaf relieves Jason, who rushes back to the retreating (limping!) Gilgamesh and asks "Do you have any gold?" His answer is "*growph*" Olaf goes down and the party fighting wall collapses. Jason cures Gilgamesh, who turns to rejoin the fight on his still broken but no longer bleeding leg. Jacob and Jason work together to tend to Olaf's wound. As others are able to, they tend to wounds and switch out fighters.
The orange draconian steps up to the fighting line and stabs Olaf after licking his weapon. The norseman goes rigid. Kirby takes on the draconian, killing it. It dissolves into acid, burning the paladin and the tiger kit. The bullywugs retreat.
The party also retreats back to town
