Everyone notices that Marc has become more quiet than normal and with a very stern and intense look on his face, after the second group gets back from killing the ogres.

If someone asks Marc says" I just want to get done with this temple and be in the outdoors again without haveing to worry about my freinds dying around me all the time." He feels guilty for putting the wolves in the "lords room." He beleives it is his falt. No one can really talk him down from this. Even Mikal and Pepper who he thinks he is more freindly too.

I would assume that Mikhail missed this in all the other confusion, but he clues before he goes into his meditative trance. He puts a hand gently on Marc's shoulder and says, "I'm hear for you, my friend. Do you need to talk? I want to be hear for you."
Daj goes to Pepper and says "I think the ring is starting to take it's toll. We're going to probably need to do an intervention before this is all through...for his own good..."
