Hi!
I was wondering if anyone has played the Call of Cthulhu RPG or if they have played a Cthulhu based campaign?

The EEG almost woke them up when his apocolyptic plans were on track. Jellie can make you a perfect image of them sleeping peacefully under the ocean...

as in Cthulhu or all the gods? Just wondering becuse the way they discribed it in every thing I read is that Cthulhu is the only one who is sleeping under watter.

The main difference between the Cthulhu in DCDND and a lot of the other gods is that they are native to the sphere - not from some other plane. Nerlathetep actually did wake up and appear to the assembled heroes as the herald of their return. Raitan killed him though, then the 11 heroes left, destroyed the entropy bell and Abydos along with it.
Istus showed Jellie visions of these monsters sleeping peacefully as they had for tens of thousands of years.

That is true, although Cthulhu did start to awaken as the Bell rang...as if the seals on him had been weakened. At the moment, he's is in repose, but no longer entirely insensate...

If they're natives, do you get their powers when you kill them (c.f. the Primordeal Gods)? Though, it wouldn't have mattered in the apocalypse because they would've been dispersed throughout Oerth.

It's funny - logically there should be some parallel toward the Cuthulu guys and Guanador. Istus made no such inference IIRC, however, they seem like they should be homies.

Homies or Rivals?
They're mega-powerful Chaotic Evil deities - what's the difference?
