"Hello friends,"
"I belive now after many hours of prayer and rest that I made a bad and almost fatal mistake today that could have hurt the group badly."
"This will NEVER Happen again"
"When I opened the door, all that was going through my mind was evil must be destroyed! ... That was a bad way to look at it"
"I never even thought about the people that loved this man as he was growing up as a young boy. He could have changed his ways and I never gave him the chance. I feel I stole his life with Athena away from him, and I am humbled"
"From now on I promise to give all creatures a chance to serve a Great god such as Athena, and to start this off I open my arms to anyone in the group who would like to be the first to change there paths in life to the one path of love with Athena."
"But, please note that after the offering is made and they choose to turn there back on goodness, kindness, and love. There will be no choice then to.... "step out that door""
"Sleep well all and may the light and blessing of Athena be upon you always."

Clandennagh smiles warmly at Semi and says: "No one doubts that your heart was in the right place, Semi. Bravery the likes of which you've shown is very rare indeed. I'm sure you would agree, though, that wisdom is the better part of valor. Almost every one of us in this group has fallen victim to our own rash actions, so please don't beat yourself up over this. We all survived and have even managed to strike a severe blow on our enemies. We face a very deceitful foe and must be always cautious and on our guard. He sends very powerful minions against us, as you've seen. Very often we barely survive these encounters. So it's important to keep our wits about us.
"I thank you for your generous offer to accept the love of your god. As you may have noticed, I profess no religious faith. I was raised by my parents to worship the Baklunish [read Celtic] gods. However, I have chosen a different path that does not involve reliance on the divine. I still believe in the various gods, but I feel no need for their presence in my life. For my own reasons, I don't feel like I can entrust my well-being to entities that are often aloof and seem unmoved by our mortal needs. I mean no disrespect. I can only speak from my own experience. I'm certain yours has been different, which led to your chosen path. I'm happy that you find meaning in your worship of Athena, and I truly welcome her assistance in our quest, especially in offering her paladin's help to us in this time of need."

Mikhail raises his eyebrows slightly and looks calmly at Semi. Only after he's meditated, psionically healed everyone he could, rested and slept, does the young man approach you. His demeanor is both respectful and ever-so-slightly sad. He asks you about your faith and your understanding of Athena. He seems to have a fairly good grasp of Medegian beliefs [read: Greek mythology and religion]. At the same time, it's quite clear that he does not fully "buy into" the faith either. Often, he will compare a noble Medegian god with some lesser foreign god, such as comparing Aphrodite with Hathor of the Nereganti [read: Egyptians] or Artemis with Bridgid of the Baklunish [read: Celts]. At no time does Mikhail come across as demeaning; on the contrary, he seems intellectually curious. And yet, it's quite clear that his faith is with none of these pantheons, despite the fact that he would do a priest pround in his knowledge of each. Very odd, especially for one so young (Mikhail appears to be about 17 years old).
When it comes down to it, I'm sure Semi would ask Mikhail what the boy personally believes. His answer is very shocking to a Medegian as it smacks of hubris [the greatest hubris for a Greek was to compare yourself to a god]. Mikhail answers very clearly and honestly, "once, several years ago, I was a druid of Silvanus, the Baklunish god of the forests, very similar to Pan but with a temperment similar to Hermes. But I see now that my faith was clouded by my own drive and the wishes of those around me. After I was used in Athena's plan (you're not sure what he means here), stole the Staff from Ptah (who?), and recovered from being possessed by the Annulus (hunh?), I realized that Silvanus had abandoned me while Athena did not look much to my well-being. Then, when the Olympians used me a second time to win their divine contest, I could take no more and turned my back on deities. In many ways, I fear Andar (Ariana mentioned him) may be correct." With than, Mikhail seems sad.

"You just need to be more careful." says Helga. "They were out to kill us. I do not believe that we will be welcome in Nulb for a VERY long time. This said, you did help us destroy evil. For this, we thank you."
She begins to walk away and then turns and smiles. "Also, you would've done better if you were a girl."

Most people can't tell the difference. I'm assuming Pepper can 'cause she's a gnome and used to dwarfs. Pepper has probably told Daj, so she knows too (Daj is also pretty obsevant and would notice this kind of thing). Also, female dwarfs' voices are about an octave higher than male dwarfs, which basically means that they make great Tenors.

Marc: "Religion is what almost destroyed my world. I can do with out it. But after what I have seen it seems to work for others." He bares no judgement, he looks the other way when others pray.
