This should, hopefully, be the last of the witch spells for me to author / steal. This is a 7th level spell and meant to create symmetry with the other dispel vapor and dispel liquid spells.
Vaporize -- Ran: 1”/lvl, Dur: 1 minute, Area: 5”x5”x5”. Also known as dispel solids, this spell effectively disintegrates (c.f.) solid, non-organic matter, such as stone, earth, crystal, metal, etc, leaving a thick mist behind. This spell is quite effective at destroying castles, forts, and other constructions, but is useless when directed against wooden cottages or nearly any sort of living (or even undead) creature.

I agree, it is a very cool spell. I don't want to go and piss off somehigh level witch without spheres.

Hehe - that works, consistant, fearsome, etc.
Would it work against sorta-solid all-metal things like a truck or a robot?

I would imagine that would depend on the vehicle or robot's tech-level. For instance, vaproize against a 1920s truck would leave ruber tires. But, against a Saturn, I think the engine and frame would disintegrate, leaving most of the rest of the car intact. Likewise, Robby the Robot would be meat, but Data would probably be cool.

Okay - that sounds cool. I especially like the effect of leaving a few extraneous bits and pieces around. Like when Erikor bit it -- BLAM! <gouts of flame> and all's left is a large sword clanking to the ground. ;D

That sounds good to me too. Whenever I took something apart when I was a kid I had leftover parts as well.
