Hey David, Question about proficentcy? Can an Archer/ Ranger be double proficent? The articles says Archers can be, but it is not clear if Archer/Rangers can or not.  |

Howdy Ray,
I've wrestled with this a couple of times, but in the end I'd have to say "no." Rangers cannot specialize, so therefore Archer-Rangers cannot either (at least until 10th level, which is also when Rangers may). Does that make sense?

That makes sense to me. Since a Ranger can't specialize until 10th, it makes since that an Archer/Ranger couldn't either.
