Just after the low level party cleared the Mound of Forgiveness, the higher level group (Flint, Chloe, Su, Sabuto, and Orn) went in. At first the group made good progress, although they had trouble with a pair of black obelisks that extinguished their magical light and then created thick mist to do the same to their torches. The heroes found themselves battling not only undead, but invisible ones that were laying in wait!
At one point, however, most of the party was paralyzed and it was only with luck that the heroes escaped back to the surface. Sabuto, however, was not so lucky, having lost his leg...
...meanwhile, in Muluk, rumors flew that the high priestess of Selan from the Tower of the Moon as well as most of her company were slaughtered. While the priestess' body was recovered, not all of her underlings were so lucky...
