Early on the morning of the 19th of March, the heroes set out for the ruins of Al-Anwahr. Flint, Isaac, Sabuto, Harbinder, Ling, and Chloe were joined by Shahin, an al karak elam guide and warrior allied with the Caliph. Shahin lead the group by air while the others road their camels up the al-Zalim river. The first day passed quietly, although the carnage of the battle with the thri-kree lay all about the heroes.
On the 20th, the group rose early and quickly passed the Sakira Falls. On the other side, near the end of the canyon, Shahin spied a band of five thri-kree hiding in ambush ahead. The party charged and amazingly enough made short work of four of them. Only Isaac was paralyzed and no one was seriously wounded. The remaining thri-kree fled, but Chloe managed to entangle it and Ling (moving freely in the underbrush) slaughtered the monster. The heroes tended their wounds and slept.
The goal for the 21st was the desert outpost at the very Southern edge of Muluk's lands. Although beyond a single day's walk from their location, the heroes decided to rise early and do a forced march. In the early afternoon they reached some outlying farms in support of the fortress...but only wreckage and carnage greeted them...
