Howdy folks,
Well, to be fair, I'd like to ALSO hear what games folks would be intersted in doing AFTER the end of the Apocalypse (most parties are now less than two weeks away). Here are some of the games I have in mind. Let me know whatcha think...
1) Giants! -- yup, after 18 years, I'd like to do these again. And I'm even thinking about up-grading giants to the 2nd Edition specs too! This will be a CAMPAIGN, probably more than a year long, and likely span a number of regions (Highlands, Yeomanry, etc).
2) Highlands -- this will partially fold into the Giants! compaign, but there are a number of lower level scenarioes I'd like to do too.
3) Shadow Knights -- yes, I'm going to try to run this one again. It actually TOTALLY folds into the campaign story arc following the Apocalypse.
4) War of the Pantheons -- the Greeks and the Egyptians go at it. Hell, some of the other pantheons jump in too. A little pandemonium for all is fun, right?
5) Iuz and his Domain -- the Old One claimed a huge swath of territory. Unless someone (the PCs) do something, he'll keep it. This is my chance to run a scenario like the Greyhawk Wars. Risk, anyone?
6) Spell Jamming -- I would really like to try again with a Spell Jamming campaign, naturally with my modifications so logic and science have a place. I'm toying with the idea of the Thursday night group for this. Thoughts?
7) Maneä -- a group of PCs now live there and I have some adventures for the water-world. For those who've never heard of this world, humans are a minority race with strange cultural divisions, there are no orcs, goblins, or hobbits, and much of the planet is covered in shallow islands -- think LeGuinn's EarthSea
8) Eon -- ditto, but even more PCs involved. This is a world much like Elizabethian England with a dusting of magic, technology, sophisticated-and-polite orcs, and menacing cloud giants.
9) Torsh -- even more so that Maneä and Eon, this is an unexplored world with the potential for YEARS of adventure. The Land of the Lost with portals, gates, and pre-historic magic.
Lemme know... David

This will be a CAMPAIGN, probably more than a year long, and likely span a number of regions (Highlands, Yeomanry, etc). --I wouldn't mind this game...although see #22) Highlands -- this will partially fold into the Giants! compaign, but there are a number of lower level scenarioes I'd like to do too. --Yes, yes, yes...oh, btw..YES Ian, Allana, Tasha, who ever!! I'm game for a kick-ass highland game. Allana is still only 5th level, so theoretically she could start w/ a lower level group This would have to be my first choice! 3) Shadow Knights -- yes, I'm going to try to run this one again. It actually TOTALLY folds into the campaign story arc following the Apocalypse. --Not sure what you have in mind, but I have a few ideas! Although most of the characters of mine that have died, I simply re-created...over and over and over again until they finally survived....lol Cassandra or Arianna (if she counts) would be a first choice...4) War of the Pantheons -- the Greeks and the Egyptians go at it. Hell, some of the other pantheons jump in too. A little pandemonium for all is fun, right? --Honestly, this is the one that I'm least interested in...MY naive side had thought that by working to save the world the Greeks would maybe get some respect...I tend not to have a lot fun fighting Holy Wars like this one...I'm not a big fan of fighting with religious zealots in the real world, can't say I'll enjoy it in the game...lol5) Iuz and his Domain -- the Old One claimed a huge swath of territory. Unless someone (the PCs) do something, he'll keep it. This is my chance to run a scenario like the Greyhawk Wars. Risk, anyone? --Ummm...yeah, about that "Risk" part...again, I'm not a big fan of this kind of game...so it's low on my list as a player....although obviously if we don't do it we'll feel the ramifications for years and years...so this is basically the damned if we do, damned if we don't...6) Spell Jamming -- I would really like to try again with a Spell Jamming campaign, naturally with my modifications so logic and science have a place. I'm toying with the idea of the Thursday night group for this. Thoughts? --Depending on the scenario and group, I could be interested...7) Maneä -- a group of PCs now live there and I have some adventures for the water-world. For those who've never heard of this world, humans are a minority race with strange cultural divisions, there are no orcs, goblins, or hobbits, and much of the planet is covered in shallow islands -- think LeGuinn's EarthSea --I have a 9th level Sea-druid and a 5th level cleric on Manea...but I think we can pull characters from some of the other worlds if Treblo will be helping out...8) Eon -- ditto, but even more PCs involved. This is a world much like Elizabethian England with a dusting of magic, technology, sophisticated-and-polite orcs, and menacing cloud giants. --I would love a jaunty Eon adventure I have many characters to choose from in a wide range of levels, ages & classes...I rank this one VERY high on my list too 9) Torsh -- even more so that Maneä and Eon, this is an unexplored world with the potential for YEARS of adventure. The Land of the Lost with portals, gates, and pre-historic magic. --Ummm....I have to wash my hair that day Seriously, it's not super high on my list, but depending on the scenario I could be persuaded...

I have a feeling #4 will be at least partially thrust upon us... #3 - sign me up! I'm assuming Jyoli... #5 - this could be more than just playing a game of Risk...we could just do some basic planning like that, then actually run a smaller mobile power-punch packing party that brings the fight back to The Old One. Tyris=Flare in particular would like to kill the old one. } Personally. #8 - I'm assuming Asfaloth and Vannor settle down and raise kid, but Quendi's always a fun one. SHE's the one that has the ability to travel between worlds several times a day if she desires. Other wrap-ups would include cleansing Harmonia's temple and Kephalonia wants to move back to Greyhawk...in style. Kephalonia also had 'get Cassandra's body back' on her list, but I believe we already did that. -A-

YES!! Harmonia's temple is on HIGH on my list as well...thanks for the reminder of that one Andy!! Arianna especially would like to be a part of this...if not her then Xena! Yes, we were able to retrieve Cassandra's body....and her leg too, I think She worships Persephone...so Kephalonia could probably come and visit her in Persephone's gardens in Hades....and have it actually be JUST a VISIT!

Hi,
Here would be choices in order. (orignial numbers kept)
1) Giants! 2) Highlands 6) Spell Jamming 5) Iuz and his Domain
9) Torsh 7) Maneä 8) Eon 3) Shadow Knights
4) War of the Pantheons
The top four (1,2,6,5) are reasonibly equal. I don't know anything about "Shadow Knights" so it ranks fairly low. The concept for #4 does not thrill me.

Haha - I forgot about that, as a 9th lvl witch of Hecate, Kephalonia gets 'plane shift' as well as a class ability to travel freely in Hades. That would be some fun roleplay, just cruise down and visit... (nice doggie)

So - When can we schedule the Harmonia thing? I'm imagining just one run, those in Amberwood are invited, preference to Greeks, but not too picky. Kephalonia offers to provide transportation. Arianna seems like a given (learn to control those death powers baby) Thesius I think is in Amberwood, as is Ken Mu. Kephalonia should be able to find Omega pretty easily to get Ken Mu's jammies back too. Anyone else around for a day/night trip to the other side of the world?
Once completed, Kephalonia can get on with things, grab her flock and go see what the Duke is up to. Where's Amanda right now, anyway? Chendel?

I am up for doing this game first thing next year. I want to save all post-Apocalyptic games for 2006.
As my Greeks pretty much all fled Oerth, I'd have to play a non-Greek from Amberwood. Conveniently, I have several to choose from (Garlok, Malok, even Flora). Amanda is in Chendl. Prior to Armageddon (or lack thereof), Kephalonia cannot scry up Omega. Let's talk in January about future attempts.

Kephalonia acutally needs to take a quick trip to her basement in Klarr to retrieve her crystal ball if much scrying is to be done. Also, she'd open portals to take a look at (not walk into just yet) the moutain top of the island where we entered Harmonia's temple before, just to see if anyone/thing is hanging around up there. Yes, rapidly approaching roleplay here. Who else is in Amberwood she can bonk on the head and throw through the portal to help us out?

My first choice is Iuz, not because it will be a fun game, but because it needs to be done. This also needs to be done sooner rather than later. The longer we wait to do this the more of a hold Iuz will get in the region. What I'd like to do is have Chastity and Rhom assemble a party to help free the regions they have been offered, and then just keep going. We need really tough characters on this game.
My next choice would be giants. This is also a game that should be taken care of before it gets out of control.
The other worlds would be fun, but I'd rather not do those games until Oerth is in better shape. I don't want tim to go by and things to get out of control.

Once Kate returns, there is very little that will stop her from helping out in Furyondy...while she has never been Knighted in the region, she would feel a loyalty to the Crown. Fighting against Iuz would give the added bonus of fighting Demons Chastity can count on Kate helping her clear out the lands... As for other games: 1. Highlands/Giants 2. Shadow Knights 3. Eon---Jessica would REALLY like to go visit some other regions and make contact as an Ambassador of sorts...plus, there are those pesky Cloud Giants...
