Since the Clerics have shot their wad and been found wanting we need to launch a counter-strike when they are weak (in the day light).
We have to decide how much killing we need to do.
1) Obliterate the Undead (obviously)
2) Emasculate the leaders (we need their spells, rings and weapons)
3) Capture and turn the shipmates (Su can read their minds - Arthur is willing to work with Su to find out how to turn the "crew" from Undead support to OUR back up crew.
4) Sink/destroy/damage their ship.
We need information - that means a recon trip - invisibly discovering weaknesses and hidden surprises.
As to Obliterating the Undead - That seems like a fair task for Cloe and ... arg The Other Cleric - I've forgotten his name! Once we have the info - obliterate as many undead ASAP.
Pre-target and eliminate the leaders.
Steal their magic items/books/scrolls
As to turning the shipmates - those WITHOUT blood on their souls (we WILL determine those that have just been working with evil as opposed to those that COMMITED evil) and can be turned to help us - we can do that
As to the ship - It has to be disabled AND they can't be allowed to take ours! I'm thinking a black ops team goes under water and punches a few holes in their hull - and sink it into the shallow water (we can salvage what we need after the battle).
But an attack that Attacks the undead and SINKS the ship as the undead are being taken out will be a good two prong attack. Additionally, we can destroy the sails (if we can't sink the ship) just to keep them on the island.
We also need to know what the Gnolls are doing - it wouldn't pay to have a Rear Guard action against us just as we start to attack the undead.
I know we need to flesh this out - and examine our scrolls/spells/recon abilities, but I just wanted to get people thinking about it BEFORE we start the game!
