After we finish at the oasis, we will need to be on alert for more lions and the Sabu Lord.
Are their any trees or high rocky outcroppings we can hide the team (and our pack animals!).
We will need to get higher ground...
We need to make sure we can defend our horses/camels from hungry lions.
Let's hope the Ogre feast will keep the local lions busy for a few days.

We will need to get higher ground... Or we can do like the Arabs do... Tie a weak/feeble nag at the periphery and sacrife it to the lions. I'm not too crazy with this one - cuz you are supposed to use a goat and tie it far away. With hunger the way it is in the desert I'd be very careful luring ANY predators ANYWHERE near us - they might all jump the main group out of starvation/hunger. Flint

This oasis is inhabited by the people of Mahara's village (he doesn't live there anymore, but other humans do). They have not seen the sabu lord or any lions on this side of the hills in many years. Perhaps you will be safe...?
