After searching the bodies of the fallen wights, Orn attempted to use his psionic powers to dimension door out of the Lost Shrine. To his (and everyone else's) relief, his mental powers didn't seem to be limited by the magic of Thanatos' Shrine and he was able to ferry the party out.
In the morning, after resting, Cloe, Arthur, Orn, Abdul, Amaryllis, Ariadne, and Epicasta returned to the Shrine. There, Ariadne set about desanctifying the site, but less than three minutes through the ten minute spell, the heroes found themselves battling a host of zombies. Luckily, these creatures proved easy to defeat, but less than two minutes later FIVE demons appeared and attacked!
Ariadne was forced to abandon her spell and both Amaryllis and Arthur found their own magics of limit use against the demons. Orn got off a prayer to help the group and Abdul and Epicasta fought as best they could, but it was truly Ariadne's nightmare that did most of the slaughtering (albeit with a sympathetic look at the demons and a serious GLARE at Arthur). Cloe has the inspiration of using some of her liquid road to ruin on other braziers of black flame. Miraculously the heroes survived, but before they could really act, THREE vampires in ancient Grecian garb began to materialize...
