Hi All,
I have been thinking for awhile about what the elves should do next. Through a certain source, we know about the Pantheiad, and I have an idea.
Ael'Mara, "The Egyptians, Greeks and Oerdians are having a competition over some relics. Now I don't usually bat an eye about what trouble the humans are getting into, however, I think we can use this competition to our advantage, and here's how... I think that we should assemble a party of the toughest heroes on Oerth that are not Greek, Egyptian or Oerdian/Seloise. Since these religions are in a competition, I don't want to get directly involved or get anyone in trouble for helping them. However, if we act now, we can take advantage of the havock they are causing Iuz and drive them further out of the area. Here is a list of people I think we should ask for help:
Tetsuko Solinane Jyoli Kee'o Nishiki Fingle
Gamoth & company Daisy Moorak Glaesha Kenya Anastasia Aarondella Harbinder Dor Goldi Nijo Thumper Zamarik Kiro Rhom Treblo Gor Kara
Billy Zarabell Darya Finn Alia
Zevi Blackrobe Wooden Thighs Breunor Corvin River Cliffy
myself (Ael'Mara) Tia Mina Shannar Selene Yrsa Genji Gere Lucky M'Bika Thyme Faun & company Falling Leaf Astley Zandra
Ideally, we could put together a couple of parties to work separately but in the same region. The goal is to slaughter Iuz's forces. If we do this now, we might be able to get him out of the area. What do you think?"
By the way, I'm sure I left some people out and I'm sorry for that. Please let me know which of your characters I missed. Also, please let me know who your top 4 characters would be for this game. They don't have to be strickly elves, please play who you'd like to play and who would want to help stop the war, or just kill some orcs. Remember these characters have to be non-Egyptians, non-Greeks and non-Oerdians/Seloise.

By the way, if you want to play someone who is already involved in the conflict in Chendle, I have an idea. If we notify the King that we have some Heroes ready to fight in a certain region, he might send someone from Chendle to help organize the battle. In truth, if we do it this way, it shouldn't matter if that person is an Egyptian, Greek or Oerdian since they are supposed to be fighting the war anyway. It would make sense for the King to capitalize on any aid he could get. So by sending someone like Xena or Mina to help these heroes organize, the King would would be getting a lot of free, and much needed aid for the war.

While I totally understand this from the King's perspective, I can see Xena (or any faithful Greek) respectfully requesting they not be included in a mission that would be in direct competition with the Greeks in the Pantheiad. They are, after all, a pantheon that tends to work together. That being said, Darya is TOTALLY UP for a mission that would throw a wrench in everyone's jockey shorts! The more mischief (albeit good-natured) caused the better!! Zarabell would also enjoy ponying up her abilities for the Elven cause

I think this is a great plan. Count Gamoth and his entourage in! As for the rest... Gamoth & company -- up for slaughtering orcs and demons Daisy -- on her honeymoon with Billy, and while she could normally be convinced, wil do NOTHING with Gamoth Moorak -- busy keeping his sons safe in Grabford Glaesha -- busy defending her home in Amberwood Kenya -- hasn't been seen in a over a decade... Anastasia -- busy helping in Chendl Aarondella -- busy defending Amberwood and being paranoid about her daughter Harbinder -- possible, but who knows her? Dor -- serving and protecting the citizens of Klarr! Goldi -- sure, I'll fuck up some mother-fucking, cock-sucking, shit-eating orcs...! Nijo -- uh, did you catch the mouth on that dishonorable hobbit thief? Who knows me? Thumper -- *crunch* *crunch* *crunch* "What's up, Doc?" Zamaric -- still on Maneä Kiro -- helping out in Chendl, although could be convinced to help by someone cool Rhom -- busy defending Chendl Treblo -- uh, I'm not much into getting gods, even just demi-gods, pissed at me... Gor -- busy helping Slee keep Greyhawk safe for reptil-er-sentient life forms Kara -- orcs? Killing orcs? Let me just get Zandra fixed and I'm ALL OVER that action...!

Well, Andorallan isn't busy right now... and the Oeridian team seems to have fired Ulaanbataar...

Hi All,
It looks like this is going to have to wait until all three of the Pantheiad parties have picked their next team in order to avoid interference. So we can re-visit this after those parties have been picked.

For me...
Tetsuko - Gotta kinda figure out what she's doing next. In lieu of anything else going on, she'd possibly return to the highlands. I'm not sure. She'd actually like to go to Sceant to find the one creature on this world that has withstood her mightyness. Solinane - Will see the war through with the rest of the FF. Jyoli - Yeeeaahhh! She'd be all for playing monkey in the orcish wrench. Currently in the Highlands, but would be amusedly watching the Pantheiad from the sidelines. Kee'o - still returning from China? Hanging with Kara, or wherever she deposits him. He would respond to Chastity's calls for help, should she send them, but he's in a kind of 'walking the earth' phase, no home, no master, his friends escaped to other dimentions... Nishiki - Would help for any good cause. Fingle - IIRC, after getting stuck in Mal'Dev for a month he made it to Eon to see Finglebells. He'd certainly be up for helping, however, he'd rather not be eaten by Ash in spite of the wonderful time they spent in the VoS last time.
Of course Slee would help part-time, but his main goal is helping rebuild the Wizard's Guild of Greyhawk, and establishing Lizard Men as full citizens in the city.

Is Jyoli in Amberwood or the Highlands? The last roleplay we did, she was in Amberwood. Did I miss something?

Ooops - my fault - I meant to say Amberwood for Jyoli. She's undoubtedly fomenting some wonderful mischief around Amberwood with TC and Goldie's help...heck add Darya if she's around too.
Pretty funny when Rhanee gets Kephalonia kicked out when Kephalonia's the last one she should be worried about.
I could just see the bunch of them sitting out, enjoying a snack when Rhanee walked by... She'd shoot them a scorching glare, but while she walked, the group would be giggling like naughty schoolchildren as nearby mud puddles, barrels, and pidgeons made faces and farty noises at her.
On Jyoli's character sheet she has written that she purchased a copy of the laws of amberwood. I think it would be tremendous fun to play jokes on the local witch (all crafted exclusively within the letter of the law, of course).

Although TC doesn't much like Rhanee anymore since she got kicked out of the temple, she does have some respect for the high priestess. TC is actually thinking of going on one of the Elf Games. She needs to start surging if she's ever going to get into a Sidhe body.
Paul p.s. I think it would be cool for Jyoli, Darya, Goldie and TC to be on one of the Elf games. Just think of the mischief.

Hi All,
As it looks right now, we are going to assemble two different teams for the Elf Games. One party, consisting of more elves than not, will be taking one of the encampments near Fangoria in order to cut off the supply lines for Iuz. This can be a weaker party since this is a small, not very fortified target. My thoughts for a party is:
Ael'Mara- 8th cleric, 8th ranger Shannar- 7th fighter Zarabell- 9th cleric, 8th fighter? Darya- 7th Mage, 8th Thief? River- 6th Archer Ranger? Zevi- 7th fighter, 8th thief? Jyoli- 8th cleric, 8th thirf? Kennibrae- 6th cleric, 6th ranger? Gamoth- 12th Druid Ash- 10HD tiger Ramu- 8HD Bear
This party would have plenty of healers and fighters.
The next group would be a little tougher and would finish off anything left at Chendle and then proceed Southwest to the next two cities. This party might consist of:
Moorak- 14th mage, 9th fighter Rhom- 9th warsmith Anastasia- 7th cleric, 7th ranger? (played by Jen) Amanda- 8th cleric Mina- 11th acrobat, 9th mage Zandra- 10th acrobat, 8th fighter Solinane- 9th or 10th archer (maybe played by Jason) Arod-
I believe Blackrobe and Woody are going to be busy saving their tribe, so maybe Corvin? Also there is room for another character from KK if she has anymore in the area. We might also be able to get some aid, via Rhanee's mirror, from Greyhawk. Any ideas are very welcome along with suggestions fro party make-up due to player or character prefernces.

Jyoli (via the magic of being killed, reincarnated, and re-made) is 8th/7th or 8th/6th, IIRC. Still not a powerful character, though, she lost most of her magic items when she died. Gotta love that 18ch to humans, though. When are we planning to do all this?

I think that is a good question for David. When is a good time to put together an Elven team and another team to start destroying the forces of Iuz? Will the Knights of the Hart be allowed to join them?

I would love to do this game. When are people interested in doing this? I would like to give the Panthiad and Shadows Knights priority (in that order). It might be a good game to do while Kari is out of town for her aunt's funeral (I'm not trying to be morbid, but as I understand this is a "when" not "if" event in the near future).
The Knights would be allowed to go SO LONG AS THE TARGET IS IN FURYONDY TERRITORY. Chendl is now free, but Crockport is strongly held.
Just as a note, there is NO WAY Gamoth and Rhom would work together on ANYTHING. In fact, their meeting would most likely end with one of them no longer breathing (in this regard, Gamoth is reasonable and would make some attempt to avoid Rhom, while the Varangian would irrationally go after the Druid and any of his allies). Anastasia would be even more bent-around-the-axle. To a lesser degree, Rhanée will NEVER aid Gamoth and Moorak seems to find ways to avoid the issue.
