Well, I must be feeling better cuz I sure wanna DO something...
Thinking about the games that are running, the fallout from the Apocalypse, the games folks are interested in, I created this list. I would like the players to prioritize their TOP THREE games.
a) Oerdian Panthiad II treasure hunt -- this is day-two of the second Oerdian Panthiad for those PCs who were on that game but haven't played elsewhere. The goal is eeps and gold, and some frost giants (although that's not a big deal, cuz they've already won!). SHORT
b) Norse post-Panthiad II slaughter fest -- Rhom, Corvin, and Breunor wanna MURDER as many frost giant leaders as possible. Looting their gold would be nice too. This is a TOUGH group and the rewards should be nice. SHORT
c) Greek mission -- there are a NUMBER of Greek or Greek-associated PCs who still have horsemouth. While I'm willing to shift this to any pantheon, I think a group of Greeks and their buddies makes the most sense. The mission is to do some task, for which the heroes will be "normalized" back to Oerth. Some possible vict-er-characters include: Jasmine (and her daughter, Kaitlyn), Aris, Vladimir, Tasha, (and Amber and Nathan), Black Robe, Tia, Finn, Quinn, Vanor, Asfaloth, (and Glorfindel), (Brand and Allyrion's sons Dante and Gabriel), Rachelle, Miranda, Kendra Jalucian, Fingle (and Finglebells), Analu, Urish, Sabrina, and many more I'm sure I forgot. MID
d) SHADOW KNIGHTS -- I have MANY ideas here. The first is vengeance against the followers of the EEG. During the Apocalypse, he broke many rules and took on the role of other gods, including those of Maztica... This one's SHORT but the series will be at least MID
e) War in Furyondy -- Iuz' forces were driven back, but not defeated. Moreover, Chastity and Rhom were both given lands currently HELD by orcish armies. 'Course, ownership is 9/10ths of the law... LONG
f) The Elves of Fangoria -- Hannok would like some help driving out the end of the orcish horde in his woodland home. Who wants the undying gratitude of the oldest living elf on Oerth? MID
g) The Temple of Elemental Evil -- Sunday's game. This will probably run regardless, but I'd like to see how people feel about it. A bunch of lower level heroes have been quested to learn about the Temple, but a NUMBER of POWERFUL heroes have offered to help them, including Aris, Chastity, Kara, Moorak, Black Robe, and Rhanée. LONG
h) The Caverns of Thracia -- Thursday's game. This will also probably run regardless, but again, I'd like to see how peopl feel. I believe the ship's crew is a bit low, so the Destiny might have to get more fodd-er-sailors before continuing. And yet, the heroes know RIGHT where the forces of Thanatos are... LONG
i) Garlok and Kyron adventure -- might be worked in the Furyondy stuff. The cousins would like to find magical rings for their (tougher) girl-friends. Personally, I'm really itching to play these two and there are a TON of folks who could go with (although hopefully NOT Mina or Samandra). SHORT
j) Torsh -- hey, after all this, there's still a big, brave new world out there. Most of it has never been explored at all. And the portals are working fine... LONG
So, let me know your top THREE picks for games as well as your top THREE picks for PCs to play. Oh yeah, and many of these games will be one or two night things too.
