On May 25th, 616, the orcish and demonic forces of Iuz launched another series of assaults on various cities and fiefs in Furyondy, the Shield Lands, and other northern kingdoms. The Old One's minions were able to smash through defenses and positions across a broad swath of the Flanese. Amazingly, however, his forces were repulsed in Grabford and completely avoided both Chendl and Amberwood.
What this new offensive means is a mystery, but it definitely spells trouble for Furyondy, since it only further solidifies Iuz's hold on much of the Paladin Nation.
As mentioned, the only major settlement to repulse the attack was Grabford. A small band of heroes managed to slaughter the orcish, ogre, troll, and demonic invaders all with only a handfull of casualties. In addition, it would seem that the Old One's forces no longer fear his wrath more than death as MANY demons fled or even teleported rather than die on the Prime plane...
