Howdy folks, there are two items for sale in Amberwood.
The first is a suit of MAGICAL elf-sized elven chain-mail. Bracers of Defense are being sought in exchange...
The second is a MAGICAL longsword, specially enchanted against regenerating monsters. Again, items which give a base AC would be greatly appreciated...

Is the elf-sized chainmail for male, female, or neuter?

I double-checked; I seem to be selling these for someone else's PC. Paul? Kari? That said, chain mail is never gender-specific, since it's so flexible.

Okay, so it is or isn't appropriate for a Thief to wear? Jyoli would consider it (she's got nothing right now) depending on who was selling. Also, she would ask the DM to make some sort of roll to determine how well it fit on her...something un-becoming would never do.

Jyolli is limited to TRADITIONAL thief weapons and armor. So, sorry, no chain mail.

She is a traditional elf. Hmm... But can't a regular old run-of-the mill thief wear elven chain mail? Even acrobats can with penalties...right? Not trying to be a butt-head here (I always identified with Bevis more anyway) but that seems inconsistant. What I'm guessing you'll say is that it's just a technicality that thieves and acrobats can wear elven chain, and therefore that standard definition of 'thief' equipment must stand for the elven patron of thieves...yes? Rough tuff and in the buff - here she comes. =:-O

I love it when players can answer their own questions...!

Hi Hon,
You didn't state what plus the armor is. Does the seller know for sure? Also, what plus is the sword? Is the seller only accepting magic items in exchange or will they take gold?

Actually, I've totally forgotten who's selling these items. Can the individual contact DAVID in private and let me know? Thanks!

Actually, if they are still available, and can be found, the Archbishop of Greyhawk does want to purchase the armor. Of course word does get around that she is a high priestess now. }

Let me check my notes. These might have been items I was selling for one of Paul's characters. Bug me when I'm at my desk, ok?
