On the 21st of April, the Druid, Gamoth of Ki returned to Greyhawk with his tigress companion, Ashtabular. At first, Gamoth's demeanor seemed sunny and pleasant -- that is until he learned that the cubs, Bethsheba and Gilgamesh, were missing...!
Arriving in Elmshire with Ashtabular, the grizzly bear, Ramu, the black jaguar, Nikaris, and his disciples, Thyme and Gor, Gamoth confronted the hobbit community as thunder clouds gathered overhead...
"Listen well, little diggers, for your lives hang in the balance," the Druid began with warning and menance. "Those missing tiger cubs are my children. If they have been harmed in anyway, I will personally visit that suffering one-hundred-fold on your pathetic little community! Nature is not all flowers and butterflies; it is also savage and wild and unforgiving. This is the side of nature your actions have unleashed!"
"Every one of your stubby selves had best start looking day-and-night for my cubs. Rest is a luxury you no longer dare enjoy. The sooner that Bethsheba and Gilgamesh are returned unharmed, the safer your pathetically insular little community will be. I can only hold off your punishment so long... Were it not for my intervention, the cubs' mother, Ashtabular here, would have already dug you out of your precious burrows and feasted on you, like a cat hunting mice..." As if she understood, the huge tigress roared and lurched forward menancingly at this threat...
"Do not believe what remains of Greyhawk's watch will protect you," meaningful glance at Gor, one of the most visible of the lizard men watch now patrolling the city. "Nothing and no one will save you from our wrath if our children our not returned immediately!" Ashtabular roared again.
"Now get moving!" and with that a column of lightning vaporized a huge swath in the heart of Elmshire.
