www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/11/07/pot.burgers.ap/index.htmlhahaha! silly police officers! (an acquaintence of mine later commented, "i don't see how that could possibly have had any sort of adverse reaction on the officers since in order for **** to be orally ingested and have any manner of deleterious effects, it has to be broken down in some manner of lipid containing substance. unless they melted it in the cheese or something? either way, chemistry 101, sucka"

Interesting, so brownies really don't do anything at all?

Recall that brownies are made with butter and oil (both of which contain lipids) and then mixd and heated. I may be TOTALLY lame in the kitchen, but my sister did teach me that much (and hell, my nephews DO usually make brownies for breakfast when they come to visit!).
I have on VERY good authority that such brownies can be exceedingly potent. The problem is because you're dealing with ingestion, dosage control is difficult; by the time you feel anything, you've probably already eaten too large a dose. If you would like more info, I suggest you speak with the individual born on April Fool's day (who got them from his mother)...
Now, I've no real knowledge of the subject or even biochem, but as for the hamburgers, I would assume that the grease used for frying combined with the melty pseudo-cheese would have done the trick.
