A note about Darya...As a wood elf who worships Erevan, she is impish, she enjoys making jokes and being irreverant. She knows the "customs" of etiquette, but often likes to just stir things up a bit. At her core, she is good and means no ill will, but generally just likes to tease and have a good time. While she is fantastically intelligent, on the surface she seems to be flighty and air-headed...is she daft? or it is a ruse? That being said...her response is said in a semi-serious tone...but there is a hint of mocking (at Treblo's expense  ) "Good to meet ya! [jovially shakes hands with you both] You're looking for Treblo, eh? Well...he abandoned the world in its time of need...he's a bit cowardly I'm afraid. And I think he dragged that poor wife of his with him...she was a hottie, so one could understand why. Wait, you said 'dating' did they not invite you to the wedding? Family! Geesh! [pause] Speaking of family, you said a wood elf mage named Cliffy? I have a brother named Cliffy and he's a mage...hmmmm, probably just a coincidence " |

"Cliffy is an elf, sort of bookish, and likes to, uh, work with his hands, if you know what I mean. *wink, wink, grin* He's a nice enough guy; sorta had bad luck. As I understand he is friends with a witch of the Norns and a big, fat Asian guy.
"You know, come to think of it," (he rolled a 1 for his Int check) "you look an awful lot like Cliffy, and you know, to me, all elves kind of look alike..."

Chastity, "Actually," a sideways clance at Daria with a raised eyebrow, "Treblo helped defend Amberwood, and his friends, against the initial onslaught of Orcs, Goblins, Undead, and Demons from 'Iuz' (I have a skill in religion so assume I use a term other than his real name). He also helped to save this world and used all the resources he had. He left this world trying to save his family and a great numder of other families. This has been a trying time for many of us. I heard a rumor than someone even got herself turned into a slithering tracker," another sideways glance at Daria, "so lets try not to judge people too hastily shall we?"
"Your sister is safely on the world of Eon. From there they might have been traveling to another world, I'm not really sure where their final destination was. If the two of you, Freke and Yrsa, would promise to help fight the war in Furyondy, I will free your friend, or at least try."

"Uh, fight a war?" asks Freke, a slightly puzzled expression coming to the Viking's face. "Well, you see, we just got done bringing an ancient prophesy to a bunch of wizards that almost got wiped out AND we still have a dragon's horde to explore once the mages are safe again. So, I mean, it's not like we're trying to flake or anything, but the guys who warned you about the Apocalypse don't have anyone to make 'em toast in the morning, much less defend them from monsters, so could we just keep doing that instead? Heck, you probably know Shelfey, since all you wizards go to mage school together or something... I hope you weren't friends with any of his guardians..." big eyes, anxious expression...

"Well, there's no much to tell really. Shelfey is a pretty serious old wizard. He's into reading the stars and making prophesies. He's tough, but not in Treblo's league. Or if he is, he's tighter than Treb. Anyway, I somehow get that you two aren't on the same page..."

So David, tell me what to roll to see if I can undo him. After Ael'Mara tries, if it doesn't work, Yrsa will lend him her prayer beads so he can do the spell again 4 levels higher.

Ray, what level was Cliffy? Paul, that's the level of the "caster" of the spell you're trying to dispel. So 50% +/- level difference.
