Just a summary of the last game -- April 16th, 2005 for us but April 3rd and 4th, 616 CY for the PCs.
The New Heroes (Laurel, River, Trillian, Soren, Jellie, and Doby) entered the ruins of the moat house an hour outside of Hommlet. A band of nine humans (brigands?) attacked, but were quickly taken out by Trillian's sleep spell. The group explored most of the upper level, dealing with a giant slug and geletinous cube (and running from a deep orange colored blob). Then they explored the bottom level, fighting a pair of gray oozes and a dozen zombies.
Unfortunately, during that battle, Laurel was mortally wounded. Trillian used the healing salve the gypsy fortune-teller gave HIM and tended Laurel while River led the rest of the party on a hunt for something to save the beastmaster. In the process, River AMAZINGLY killed an ogre and rescued a pair of merchants and the gnome, Prince Twillian. Twillian left for Hommlet while the heroes continued to search.
Two hours later, Twillian returned with the cleric, Calmert, from the Temple of St Cuthbert. In exchange for "quest" the priest partially healed Laurel. River again lead the heroes into the dungeons, where they were nearly slain by four ghouls. During all this time, Trillian remained with Laurel, tending to her internal hemorraging.
After many hours, Trillian was able to stablize Laural's condition enough to move her and the party made a litter and brought her back to town, although it does not look like she will every be able to fight again...
