I'd like to wrap up the first day of the Oerdian panthian on June 17th. I believe everyone will be free and I really do not want these game to drag out. Honestly, I'm now thinking I may only give you two "days" for this trial just because it is going SOOO slowly... Thoughts?

Okay, well, I spoke with Kari too. It seems were pretty much all in agreement (I haven't spoken with Paul, but since the Oerdians are CLEARLY going to win either way...). I would like to then propose the following:
Each remaining team (Egyptians and Oerdians) finish their "day of frost giant slaughtering" in order to determine which group one the test of "brutal, raw, naked force" of the Faces.
Then, we can move on to the final round -- the Trial of the Hesper, which allows a mortal to peer through the veil of time and space...
...and tie this trial (at least in part) into the 20-year reunion game...
...after all Damelia (and Reiszor) is a paladin of Athena...plus there is a connection with Thailine and Reiszor (per Tony's backstory), and quite a bit of history there with many of the other Greek heroes, like Jasmine, Brand, etc.

If both the Egyptians and the Greeks want to admit the Oerdians won and we just stop right now that is fine with me. The Oerdians killed at least 10 more giants in their 1/2 day than the Egyptians did on their first full day, which was better than the Greeks. If for game purposes you just want to say they won, that's fine.

But what about the heroism? The honor? The loot?! The EEPS?!?
As I understand, Kari, Ray, and Mickey wanted to do the Egyptians, day II of the panthiad TONIGHT at 7:00. Craig, you're more than welcome to join us as Khefriseniset. Also, I have a couple of totally valid NPCs if anyone else is interested. Lemme know!
(but do it via email -- I have three meetings and two doctor's appointments today!)

There's some parity in the Greeks regrouping, and putting all their efforts into winning the Hesper. It was originally Greek, it should stay Greek, and the Greeks do the best with prophecy, Seers, soothsaying, scrying, an suchlike. Do we have any idea what the third trial is? As for Saturday, that seems like great fun for some real raw Oerdian firepower...  |
