Hi All,
I am going to suggest that we reinstate an old tradition that we did reguarding leveling. In the past, everytime a character leveled they put a quarter in a little jar in the gaming room. At the end of the year, this money would be used to have a little get together for the gamers. If there are no objections, David and I would like to start doing this again.

I think we should start with ANY and ALL games run in 2006 or later. Heck, I think doing a set of FRoGgies this year might be fun too! Thoughts? Maybe make it short to get the tradition going again:
Best New Character: Most Spectacular Death: Most Tragic Death: Lamest Death: Best Character of the Year:
Best New NPC: Most alive NPC: Coolest NPC: Nastiest Monster: Most over-used Monster:
Best Game/Plotline: Best Session: Lamest Session: Dumbest Plan: Best Plan:

Cool idea,
Quick question - could this be for all characters that leveled on a game in 2006 (thus starting last week!) That makes a nice balanced structure for money in and money out during 2006.
AND
Would that include Psionics being activated and leveling? Or just the main Fighter/Mage abilities that leveled?
Just interested and don't mind adding Quarters if needed!

Hi All,
I think it would be great to start with January 1st 2006, so if you have leveled anyone since then just ask me where the quarter jar is.
Also, I think Steven's idea of putting in quarters for people who are burning to get skills or psionics higher is a great idea. Why don't we start doing that as well.

I am TOTALLY for using the Leveling Jar for all PCs gaining an Experience Level in any class as of January 1st, 2006. I don't, however, believe this should be applied to skills or skill levels. Just my 8% of a level... (that would be two cents for those of you bad at math!)

Hel owes $.50 and Ziyi owes $1.25 for now, and in four days she'll need to throw $.50 more into the pot.

Could we have a current list of all charcters and how much they've paid?

While that's a good idea, Buddy, it would take forever. What works better is for folks to check over the list next time they're over (it's four pages front and back!). And anyone under age doesn't have to pay anyway, so don't worry about it...!
