The heroes (Rolf, Benji, Cain, Bruce, Kohl, Pak, and Ren) slip down through the remnants of the sewer system, as the elevator is unavailable, where they find and befriend Cormel. The group ultimately battles a few goblins as well as several strange reptilian spirits. After a serious of these tunnels and slides, the group finds itself at least 150' closer to the cavern floor some 500' below
