Ummm, three things.
1) I want whatever your smoking.
2) I don't see my parents letting me do this.
3) There are only 4 games I would understand, due to game systems.

Howdy Steven,
I've actually only been to two overnight cons, both free thanks to the shinnanigans of Germaine Brown (hey, SHE's the master Photoshop guru, not me!). And I've never actually spent the night on-site (sorry, Faire is as alternative as I get).
The cons were interesting, but I fear the people make American Idol rejects appear to be mentally stable and socially well-adjusted. And since I'm an old-school 2nd(ish) Dnd gamer, I doubt that there'd be any games I'd be into. I'm always on the prowl for new vict-er-players, but I don't think that would be the best way to find stable folk.
Now, the dealers' room might be interesting for vintage books, but not worth $30 to me. Is a pass required for the dealers' room (I scanned the site but couldn't tell)?
Jeff, the only thing you're allowed to smoke is cigars and that's only after skiing with your uncles on St Patrick's Day!
(Uncle) David

oh, yeah, anyone up for a field trip to comicon in san diego this year? i've never been, but don't want to go alone. it's in july. alternatively, we could posse up for a day adventure in san francisco in a month and then go for samosas, panir's, guinness and air hockey at the nexus of ireland and india: Kennedy's. dig the review below. www.comic-con.org/sanfrancisco.citysearch.com/profile/917615/

I tried to learn once... But I hate the use of a d20 for every single FRIKEN thing. I'm still surprised they dont roll ability scores on a d20.

Howdy Angela,
A trip to the city sounds like fun. I'm actually more interested in Kennedy's than a con, but I KNOW I need some down-time! Hey, at least I only worked six days this week!
