The party (Connel MacHamish, Gabriel, Gimble Gemnose, Gretle, Stalking Wolf, Ramson, Saundra, Adora, and Lily) awaken back in Glantri in Château Sylaire. They spend the time searching the grounds for clues, exploring the morgue, golem creation room, and many of the store rooms beneath the castle. The group finds the dungeons but is afraid to go past the flesh golem guardian to search so Adora uses her wraithform, finding only empty cells. The group also finds a silver gate of some sort, similar to the open they found in Château in the Mist. The upshot, however, is that all this detective work does point to Henri as the culprit...
