Alura bint Alura, daughter of the reigning Sultana of Hiyal transported Flint, Waseem, Joshua, Isra, Jaru, Satrine, Jax, and Vinelwa to Huzuz in order to get the cursed ring from Flint removed. In exchange for a minor errand, the Imam of Selan in Huzuz agreed to lift the curse. The party was to journey to the foreign lang of the pointed-eared "goblins" where they were to barter as emissaries of the Imam for the ring from some "Princess Souela". Turns out that the "goblins" were elves and Princess Souela is the adventuring daughter of Queen Yolande of Celene...oh and a distant relative of Vinelwa!
Princess Souela agreed to return the ring of djinni summoning for free in exchange for the heroes removing the threat of "some ice trolls" to the elven peoples dwelling in the shadow of the wall of Black Ice. The group spent a day in Celene before being teleported to the court of Prince Emar. The heroes spent a few hours among the ice elves before assaulting the glacier.
The heroes entered the glacier, only to be ambushed by an ogre which trasnformed itself from ice to flesh before attacking. Luckily, Vinelwa and Isra spotted it mid-change and the heroes made short work of the guardian. Soon thereafter, the heroes encountered more than a dozen ice trolls through two separate encounters. The group suffered minor wounds, but while ice trolls are as fearsome as regular trolls, they're also far more fragile...
