And yes in that aspect nothing has changed I believe I hold the most deaths in the last 10 years.

Jay and Andy would probably agree that I'm quite a bit "softer" these days than I was earlier in the campaign. MANY more people died and I was quite, uh, gleeful sometimes. Kari sometimes will note this, but I don't think she really recalls the "good old deaths" clearly enough. I mean, it's been a while since I crucified anyone's favorite character...and while Anthana did live, it was only to be gunned down by orcish archers a few months later...after Mandar loped off the head of his lady love while charmed...Kironumei was hacked to pieces in his jail cell...Prince Fadranth died and came back as a dwarf...Findar's life force was snuffed out for messing with the Eye of Nerull using a life-stealing sword (and he was a monk too!), etc, etc...
I mean, then there was Highlands (where the whole party was wiped out save ONE person on two separate occasions), a game where we had a VERY high mortality rate. Or Kari and Chris' first adventure..."look, rakshasa...oh, is that a fireball? What? Save AND die anyway?"
Yeah, I'm getting soft and mellow in my old age...I suppose running games for 28 years will do that to you...
