saw it in the web comic I like (they used it as a decoy of a lich along with a death knight and helvecia (undead palidin)), bin wondering what it is.

Yea it's an eye patch that shoots 20d fireball and has a nasty fear effect. Just ask Tyris Flare, she dosnt need the item.

It's a lame British monster from the Fiend Folio, harvest from the Fiend Factory, a series in the British gaming magazine, White Dwarf, edited by Don Turnbull in the 70s and 80s. Like many of the creations from WD, it lacked, uh, a niche, to be polite...

We need a dungeon crawl that is full of only monsters from white dwarf and traps from those books who's name escapes me that only listed nasty over the top traps.

Ohh yea in Forgottten Realms the Drow Jarlaxle has a magic eye patch that gives him the powers of an eye of fear and flame. LOL I need one of those.
