Heroes: Jenner the Druid, Gilgamesh the Tiger, Naesala the Clerical Mage, Starglow the Mage, Draegor the Archer, Black Eagle the Shaman, and Uck the Ranger
The party regroups in the main chamber after clearing out the giants down the hallway. They tend to the wounded as best they can, but they run out before everyone is brought back. They keep an eye on the webbed room while Gilgamesh starts pawing at the door leading south. As Naesalla is about to open the door, a Flan woman charges down the stairs and starts yelling at Jenner for endangering himself and how his parents would never forgive her or Black Robe if he were to die on a mission Black Robe sent him on. Jenner starts arguing with her that he is trying to save his maid that his mother adores, but Black Eagle just stares at him asking what maid. Naesalla pipes in stating they are probably behind the door Gilgamesh is pawing at and opens the door while Black Eagle and Draegor yell wait. Too late, two orogs are revealed behind the door guarding what looks like four cells. Naesala jumps out of the way to allow Draegor and Gilgamesh to take the blows. One Orog gets stunned and the other charges past the two to bring Naesala down. Black Eagle jumps in to defend the fallen cleric and finishes off the Orog. The other is taken down by Gilgamesh and Draegor. Once Naesala is brought up, she thanks Black Eagle. The webs then light up in the room and 12 orog charge into the room. To buy time, Starglow webs that group, catching them all as two trolls move into the room from the hall in the northwest. THe group bands togethers and takes out the trolls, but do not have any fire readily handy, but Starglow has oil they douse the trolls in and throw into the webs. Naesala then moves to the room with the cells and moves into the room with Draegor that the two orog occupied. Searching them for keys, she finds them and moves to a wall of cell doors. She opens the first and finds a decidedly unhinged flan man. Naesala calls Black Eagle over as he is one of hers and moved to the next cell and opens the door. As that is happening, the webs go up in flames again, wounding the stuck orog and lighting the oil soaked trolls. A battle ensues with Starglow casting spells from his book to keep the party alive. Naesala opens the next door, unaware of the battle outside the room and finds a wounded and unconscious elf woman and flan man. Hearing the sounds of battle, she joins the fray with her bow in hand. Uck valiantly stands in the door way to help mitigate the amount of orogs coming into the room, but ultimately falls. Finally, all of the orog are defeated, but many party members are wounded in the process. Black Eagle does what she can, but her healing is soon tapped out. Realizing they have healers in the prisoners, Naesala mentions she found the two they were looking for. Black Eagle uses her last magical healing to bring the Flan man up and it is indeed Dull Knife. He then heals Andyra. When she comes back up, she thanks the party and Jenner for coming to get her. Naesala then moves to the net cell where an Elven warrior is tied up with missing ears. Dull Knife heals him to bring him conscious. The party begins to interrogate him and he claims to be Silvain, an Elven general of Celene. Andyra comes into the room after hearing a familiar voice and recognizes him. She runs up to hug him and he winces, but she vouches for him as she recognizes him from her days in the Elven courts. He then pledges a year service to each person who saved him as his honor dictates that reward. Curious about the last cell, Naesala then opens it up to find an old woman in foreign garb who starts begging in a tongue no one recognizes. They free her, but also keep a close eye on her. She gives some healing to Gilgamesh as a reward. As the party gets ready to leave, an ettin charges into the room. Starglow casts a spell from his book to slow the ettin down. He manages to deal a lot of damage, but the book blows up on him, cause a little damage. The party moves in and takes care of the ettin, leaving the dungeon afterward with their freed prisoners.
