One day in the Holy See of Mitrik, Aeronne prays to Angellus to find his warhorse. In response, the paladin has a vision of a pegasus captive of the Thieves' Guild in Rel Astra. The pegasus is in a crate and slated to be chopped up for potion ingredients and alchemical parts in three days. The only problem for Aeronne is that Rel Astra is nearly three thousand miles to the East...!
Aeronne briefly speaks with Pope Hazem who suggests the paladin consult with one of her bodyguards, the Bharati woman, Harbinder Prandoori. Harbinder offers to create a wormhole for Aeronne and even help him free the pegasus. She suggests, however, that first they gather a larger party and so the pair travel to Greyhawk where they pick up Aris Tradewind, Adama of Asclepius, Ichi, and P'Tol before wormholing to Rel Astra.
The group gets a room at one of the inns in town and Aris scouts the local scene. He locates one of the obvious entrance to the guild and Aeronne has the party walk through the front door and start fighting. Unfortunately, only Ichi and Harbinder are really suited to non-lethal combat and the party winds up facing a quite a number of defenders. They overcome them, but elect to wormhole out rather than continue what has obviously become a needless bloodbath.
The heroes rest until sunset in their inn room, Harbinder meditating and psi-healing the party.
