The heroes (Ichi, Shang-Lung, Corona, Klornap, Shayana, Zylvanar with Nikaris, and Bruenor) battle the tarrasque as Reinhard climbs out of the bag of holding, transfixed with fear. Ichi, Shang, Bruenor, and Zikaris deal quite a bit of damage. The heroes move on to the next room where they battle three iron golems and again Shayana rescues Nikaris. The heroes encounter a room with a mobile wall of annihilation then a room with delicious meats that Nikaris jaguars down. From there, the heroes locate a secret door and rise up a level.
On this new level they encounter a new of storage rooms before locating a guard room for off-duty officers. Later, the heroes find themselves battling the active elite guards as well as a vampire priestess and her bilwhr body guard. During the battle, the heroes also run afoul of three aparitions which drop Klornap as well as some sons of Kyuss, which fear Nikaris and touch Klornap. When last we left our heroes, the cleric of Wee Jas was a prisoner of the dwarves, the black jaguar was badly wounded and feared, Ichi, Bruenor, and Shang were trying to hold off the duergar elite forces, and the heroes were in a tight spot and low on spells...
