The heroes (Yavin, Katya, Hamish, Gilean, Moonleaf, Kinsa, Remort, Twyll, and Dormius) continue their exploration of the world of Kyrie. Kinsa and Dagaru go hunting with Gilean, Moonleaf, Remort, Twyll, and Dormius in the mountains for another day, even though the heroes were ready to travel. The group, however, winds up encountering a six-legged, six-winged teal dragon that unleashes a persistent cloud of neurotoxic vapors. Moonleaf has time to cast and unleash a call lightning, which seriously hurts the creature. Twyll follows this up with an improved magic missiles, which perforates the dragon's wings. It unleashes its breath weapon, paralyzing Moonleaf who is then trapped in the fog while Remort time-steps to (relative) safety. Dormius leaps through the cloud and saves the druid after Tywll lauches more improved magic missiles and Gilean hacks the creature down.
The following morning, using Remort's domination power so that the beholderkin lensman accepts Kinsa's charm monster spell, the heroes now have a new ally. They head east above the clouds toward the star port. Although they manage to avoid the first four days of encounters, the last day proves more eventful...
