Frank Sommerville with KTVU's Ten O'Clock News: "Reports are sketchy at this time, but Berkeley police announced earlier this evening that they had uncovered and eliminated a drug ring in the wealth Cragmont neighborhood of Berkeley. Joining us on the scene is John Sasaki. John?"
John Sasaki in front of a badly-damaged Victorian three-story, with police tape and officers clearly in the background: "Investigators are combing the remnants of this beautiful Victorian house after an earlier combined raid by the Federal Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security. The two agencies were working in concert as information linked the profits from the drug sales at this location to the funding of terrorist cells around the country and in Europe. How far-reaching those ties are remains to be seen, but officials are certain that this bust represents a significant blow to both the East Bay drug cartels as well as funding for terrorist groups, in particular those operating in Ireland.
<Scenes of the inside of a once-beautiful home, now badly damaged from some sort of explosion>
John: "Federal agents tried to serve a search warrant to the owner of this home earlier this evening, but instead of a peaceful encounter, the homeowner responded with violence, including using grenades on officers. The head of the drug operations is currently in federal custody, but little information is forth-coming at this time.
"A second team of agents tried to capture the homeowner's accomplices, but at least one escaped after shooting and killing two officers. He is described as a tall, powerfully-built African-American in his late twenties, wearing army-surplus cargo pants, a stained white muscle shirt, and a red checkered flannel. The man is armed and dangerous, with at least two pistols in addition to the weapons he took from his victims. Police are currently scouring Berkeley and Oakland. Please call the number on the screen if you have any information about this man, but police warn that he is very dangerous, liable to shoot at the slightest provocation. This is John Sasaki in Berkeley for the Ten O'Clock News."

Announcer: We interrupt this program to being you a special announcement!
<Scene of Apple computers' main campus on the corner of De Anza Boulevard and Interstate 280, with several buildings suffering from localized fires and a large crowd of people in the parking lot>
A Latina reporter appears with the station newsroom in the background: "This is Jessica Aguirre coming to you live from the KNTV news room with a special report. Apple computers in Cupertino appears to be the scene of a terrorist attack at this moment. Joining us life from the scene is Mike Inouye. Mike, what can you tell us?"
A young Asian man comes on the screen with a shot of #1 Infinite Loop behind him. Several panes of glass are broken and a thick, black smoke issues from several holes in the building, as it had been struck with localized mortar fire. A large crowd can also be seen as well as other news crews. Mike: "Jessica, the details are not clear at this time, but the story sounds like something out of a comic book. Two men in strange mechanical suits stormed the front lobby of Apple computers around 4pm today. They demanded to see Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple who died of cancer several years ago. The pair of men then became belligerent, insisting that Apple's profit scheme had ruined the nation's economy as well as them personally."
<Cut to cell phone footage of a man in a suit of mechanical armor, similar to something out of the original Starship Troopers, shouting. The man speaks haltingly in a Southern accent, as if drunk or stoned>
Man: "I recollect that Apple compooters done ruined this here economy in the good 'ol U S of A. Your corporate henchmen are gonna be taken to task. We wanna see Steve Jobs raight now! If yer gonna tell us lies 'bout him, den wur gonna find him ourselves."
<The man then point his arm at a wall and a gun mounted above his wrist fires with a very loud explosion. The video switches to chaos as people are fleeing the scene...>
Mike Inouye: "Jessica, it would appear the two men then attacked the Apple campus, claiming that they were striking a blow for the common man. Using a variety of weapons, these two attackers caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage to the facility. Police arrived on the scene, but the men then began to fly around the buildings, targeting any officers they saw with their weapons as well as damaging the buildings. At this time, law enforcement agencies report six dead officers and seven more being treated for life-threatening wounds. There are also at least three dozen reports of Apple employees and contractors with minor wounds."
<Suddenly, a brilliant flash is scene behind the reporter, as if a bolt of lightning struck just in front of the building. Then a gorilla in a necktie is scene leaping at one of the flying men in powered armor>
Mike, looking over his shoulder: "Jessica, it would appear that the police tactical teams have now struck at one of these attackers." And to the cameraman, "Rob, zoom in."
<Focus is bad, but a woman in a leather jacket can be seen grabbing one of the men and smashing him back and forth into the concrete on either side before tossing him in the air where a bolt of lighting originating from INSIDE an Apple building nails him. Several figures then are seen fleeing the scene, including the gorilla bounding over buildings and, apparently, one figure that simply disappeared from view instanteously. After a minute or two, police rush in, checking on the two downed men in armor.>
Mike: "Jessica, there's no word on what just happened, but some group just took out both attackers. Back to you."
Jessica: "Thanks, Mike, for your brave reporting. Obviously, this is a story we will be following up with later at six."
SIX O'CLOCK NEWS
There is little coverage of the event, other than many camera-video snippets showing one black man leaping up and stabbing one armored man in the foot as well as a shot of both defeated attackers with "Fuck My Life" stickers across their chests. The news report the following day includes a mention that many of the computers in the main building attacked appeared to have been wiped clean and footage from most internal cameras was also destroyed. There are a few grain stills showing a woman with spirits around her and a gentleman with a cane in addition to several of a large gorilla wearing a tie and a teenage girl with goggles.
