Julie Haener for KTVU 10pm News: "More trouble this afternoon at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. While reports are contradictory at this time, the South Bay public hospital once again appears to have been host to strange claims of violence earlier today. Joining us from the South Bay is Amber Lee. Amber, what can you tell us?"
Amber Lee at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, "Well, Julie, what precisely did happen earlier this afternoon here is not clear. Three visitors to the facility reported several flashes of lightning and the sound of gunfire in the parking garage, near the Moorpark entrance. Then, according to eyewitness accounts, security found three unconscious adult males, each wearing a matching black suit and sunglasses. All three were brought inside where two were treated for mild electrical burns and the third treated for mild frostburn. Police arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and created a security cordon, although police and government officials are sharing no specific information at this time."
Scene of a news conference somewhere outdoors with a middle-aged white man speaking and the label "Paul Lorenz -- Chief Executive Officer of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center" beneath. "At this time, the medical center is actively investigating reports of violence within the southern parking structure. Local law enforcement is aiding in this ongoing investigation, but at this time we have no information we can share with the public."
Amber Lee, "Julie, eye witnesses say that this statement is a smokescreen and that the medical center is trying to hide what really went on. One person I spoke with believes that the medical center might be involved in a government cover-up, possibly including government agents or investigations. It is true that the way the SCVMC is handling this is unusual and bears further scrutiny, particularly in light of the gang-violence at the medical center over the weekend. Back to you, Julie."
Julie Haener, "Thank you, Amber Lee. In other news, tabs of drugs have been found in Happy Hollow park near the Japanese Tea Gardens. Police are investigating this issue further..."
