The party (Idky, Maedhros, Yavin, Artec, Hamish, Katya, Kinsa with Dagaru, Gilean, Moonleaf, Borlon with Nebra, Remort, and Twyll) seeks a way to repair the damaged glyph in the ruins on Torsh before continuing on to the next world. Commune spells reveal that the best course of action for the party to reseal the breach is to go to Oerth, where both Yavin's and Maedhros' orders could grant access to the cerulean sign spell. Idky plane shifts the party to the area around Greyhawk. Unfortunately, the party members are transformed into other forms: Hamish becomes a minotaur, Gilean becomes a doppelganger, Artec becomes an ogre, Yavin becomes a yuan-ti, Katya becomes a gnoll, Remort becomes a doppleganger. Only Twyll is spared.
Katya teleports them to Maedhros' temple in Amberwood. Ael'Mara doesn't know of the cerulean sign spell, but he thinks that Mirquin of Fangoria might. So the party waits around for a few days for Ael'Mara to go to see her and return.
While they wait, Borlon teleports Maedhros to Tovag Baragu so he doesn't disrupt arcane magic in and around Amberwood by his presence. The party also takes some time to learn spells and resupply. Gilean learns the spell haste in order to physically age Remort. Yavin gets Borlon to teleport him to the temple of Celestian and finds out that the cerulean sign spell is in a vault, which the priests would like them to clear. And then he'd be welcome to the spell. Yavin also telepathically contacts Ichi, who is on the other side of the world, and invites him to rejoin the party on Torsh.
Ael'Mara reports back that Mirquin doesn't know the spell, but she suggests that someone in Myrendelle might know the spell. A representative from Myrendelle arrives in Amberwood a couple days later, and the party gets an audience with Zarabelle. She passes the request along to the king of Myrendelle, Tolivar, who asks for a regenerate spell in return for access to their library and archives. The party comes up with enough gold to pay for the regenerate which is cast by Aurelidius, the High Priest of Hades in the Hexpools.
Myrendelle allows Maedhros in, after he proves that he is actually an elven priest of Corellon. Yavin is also allowed in because he mentions the Elven Armada. However, after Maedhros mentions his curse, the elves escort him out. Instead, the elves require Yavin to learn the spell and make him swear to teach the spell to Maedhros afterward. Twyll is also allowed entrance, since he is the only other elf in the party.
Yavin is taken to the librarian of Myrendelle, who immediately takes Yavin to task for leaving her behind. It's Sabrina! Yavin learns the spell in five days and comes away with a copy of it. Yavin realizes during this time that he and Remort (as doppelgangers) absolutely NEED to eat the brains of sentient creatures to survive.
He shares the spell with Maedhros, who also learns it. They return to Torsh and use the spell and other wards to seal the breach at the temple complex. They also teach Borlon the spell, so that he can use it in future to repair the breach again as needed.
Mission accomplished eeps: 5000 each, except Twyll gets 1100 (1000 + 100 for world jumping the first time), Remort gets 1000, and Gilean gets 2500.
