The heroes (Galen, Urthur, Hagar, Vinato, Aiden, Saytang, Keakani with Oma, and Aolaw'ai) rested for six hours before attempting to track down the fleeing lizard men. The heroes almost immediately ran into a group of villagers with Rongo and Kahana who were searching for zombies. The groups blend and it is Galen, Urthur, Hagar, Vinato, Saytang, Keakani with Oma, Rongo, and Kahana who continue while Aiden and Aolaw'ai join the villagers to get the undead.
The heroes follow their freed lizard man's suggestions and hike through the night, cutting back ahead of the lizard men around noon. Kahana uses the vantage of trees to scout, but there is no sign of the fleeing group of lizard men. She does, however, see a large lake.
The heroes spend nearly two days waiting for the fleeing refugees. The shaman and wizard snuck up with three hasted crocodiles and three hasted lizard men, using their spells to harry the party. They nearly succeeded, until Hagar got clear of the magic and swam at them -- the two reptiles didn't expect a wereboar to swim nearly twice as fast as themselves!
The heroes then proceeded to slaughter nearly all the remaining lizard men, including the krolli, mage, and druid. During the fight, Aiden turned up, having followed the party after his group lost the zombies' trail. The party then hunted down and slew most of the lizard man refugees. Perhaps six total escaped.
The group then hiked back to Tanaroa. They learned that Tikal had stolen most of the honored elders from the various mainland villages. The group headed out to explore beyond the wall, encountering and slaying a young black dragon near the tar pits.
The heroes headed back to the Great Wall, discovering that about an hour after they had left, a huge horde of zombies attacked and destroyed most of the Tanaroa. Tikal claimed the region and had his undead make the region uninhabitable. He also managed to have his minions slay most of the clan leaders.
The heroes now must decide what to do...the villagers survive, but have no where to go. There is a trail of the undead heading back into the jungle, but what about the innocent survivors...?
