This Poll was created simply for the fun of making a poll! It will likely have no actual bearing on what happens to said character, but what the heck....
After you vote, leave a note explaining why you voted in a particular way...

I kinda look at it as housecleaning - she's an amusing NPC (Solinane thinks she's great) but it would be great to get rid of her in a glorious gory blast of new-worldlyness. I think David will keep her around just to needle Kari, though. But i know what you're thinking, I personally think it would be great for Rhom to be 'on the market' again so to speak, but he'd exhaust his resources trying to get her brought back. If he couldn't get her back (and I don't know how this could happen) I think he'd be more likely to withdraw and bury himself in his work than go looking for cute yet skilled sea-spirt folk to marry.

Andy called it exactly! I wrote quite a bit about this in the Giants post, but, for me, the core concept isn't how we as players think of Anastasia. What does her husband and children think of her? Sure, Anni can be a royal bitch-queen, but Rhom is deeply in love with her. She may be a shrew that drives him crazy, but after almost 20 years of marriage, it's simply made him a better smith and driven him to craft some really cool weapons. His outlet is his forge when she Can't Understand Normal Thinking and that's worked for him quite well. If Anastasia were to disappear, stoic Rhom would be left with a mortal wound in his heart. Being true to the character, he'd become a morose, depressed, dark, brooding man using his forge to work out his constant pain and anguish. He would probably turn completely away from the world, including possibly his children. In that family, it was Anastasia who was core, not Rhom. Sure, Meagan is "daddy's little girl", but unlike Moorak, Rhom doesn't share his thoughts and feelings to the same level with his daughter. Kristoph is clearly more connected to Anastasia, as is Viktor. And Rhiannon has always been something of a wildcard. So Anastasia's death would put a somewhat disfunctional family into a nasty spin. At least thats how I see it.
And don't forget, when Bart died, Rhom conceived of and went on that epic quest to Valhalla and Hel in order to bring him back. He would certainly go farther (and get his ass killed) to get back his ONE true love (yeah, that's part of Rhom's character concept; he's never really been in love before).

I say keep her, as long as I can play her sometimes.
Remember - Greeks smell like sheep.
