The party (Idky, Yavin, Athos, Artec, Katya, Sabrina, Ishmopah, Hamish, and Khepri) recovers from their battle with the bone golem, undead, and will o' wisp. Idky casts cloak of bravery and brushes up against Katiya and Khepri but they are still feared. So he and Hamish go off in search of Yavin to remove his fear.
Meantime, Artec has gone off in search of Yavin. He finds him under the sunstone near the entrance during an encounter with some giant lizards. Artec picks off two lizards and gets attacked. Yavin runs past, now that the path is clear. Artec pursues him back to the caved-in passage, where Yavin is attempting to hide. Artec kills the last lizard, and the fear wears off strangely quick. They head back to rejoin the party.
Yavin attempts to help the feared women telepathically. It doesn’t work, so he tries putting his black crystal ring of attenuation on them to reduce the amount of time they are affected. Meantime, Ishmopah retrieves Yavin’s flaming sword from the bone pit. In there, he also finds:

As Ishmopah crawls out, Athos notices transparent lizardmen figures crawling out of the pit behind him and calls out a warning. They are reaching for the items the cleric removed from the bones. Ishmopah starts to throw the items back, and the ghostly figures recede back into the pit. Yavin casts rest eternal on the pit. He then casts levitation on himself and gets the clay tablets and scrolls out.
Leather scroll 1: cure light wounds, bless, create water, command, augury, dispel magic
Leather scroll 2: remove curse, neutralize poison, hold person, snake charm, resist fire, silence 15’
Leather scroll 3: silence 15’, purify food & water, slow poison x3
Leather scroll 4: protection from undead
Leather scroll 5: detect magic, light, locate object
Clay tablet 1: detect evil, detect magic, delay image, lasting breath, precognitive sense
Clay tablet 2: know alignment, preserve, alternate reality, alacrity
Clay tablet 3: haste, slow, time slip
Clay tablet 4: conjured sword, detect metal, spell of bad taste, control body temperature, levitate, strength, haste
Clay tablet 5: empathic healing, cauterize, frostball, ray of true light
The party knocks out Khepri and carries her off to hole up in the vampire room to heal up and rest overnight. They find out that Hamish is inflicted with some kind of mummy rot. Ishmopah cures him, and he’s right as rain.
In the morning, they encounter three crocodiles as they emerge from the room. Ishmopah, Hamish, and Artec finish them off quickly, but not before Ishmopah gets badly damaged. Before they head further into the dungeon, they go close the doors to the temple.
They encounter six mosquitoes as they head down a passageway. They kill them quickly and move on. They come to double doors, which cancel Yavin’s find traps spell. Athos opens the barred doors, revealing an octagonal oblong room with two exit doors, both made of the same anti-magic material as the double doors. The room is full of beautiful furniture and crystal table settings. Resting on some worn out divans are two lizard men. There are runes inscribed on the left wall. Sabrina reads them. They are a dialect of K’Thoi: “Beware! The many-eyed <divine being> will bring a fiery rain of death.”
