Bob and Tina need some city time - they missed the last city visit. Tina needs some spellbook construction and bob needs to reequip and send some mail en route.

Aaron -- did you want to pull Moonlight off the game? I realize that Bart isn't friendly any longer, but do the rest of the party also have a problem with him? If not, I think having a shapeshifting druid in the party would be quite handy... Well, yes, there IS a mountain floating over the Bright Desert and rumor does have it that it's associated with evil dragons... And, the TEE game is, as yet, unresolved. True, Mikhail was core on that game, but so too were Dion, Sky, Marc, Daj, Alec, etc. The group could head back that way and I know Ray was hoping to play Marc... Hitting a city for a few days would be very logical. I know that Baghsheer really wants to spend a few days in a town working on his spell book...I'm enjoying playing him, but he could also drop off as a result...

The sabre is NOT magical
What does Tamesin need to do? Write in his spell book? I would imagine the party would be cool kicking it for at least a week after several weeks in the wilderness and dungeon (it's nine days of walking just to get back to a "real" city, plus two days to get to the logging town, and like five days in the dungeon at least...).
I would be VERY interested in running a non-Euro game, especially a Middle Eastern one...! I think Gordon might like that idea too... Also, the nice thing about ME games is that, given a more central location and better trade links, PCs can be a little more cosmopolitan ethnically (although VERY few non-humans...!)

yea tamesin needs to get a new book and fill it up.
also he wants to hire some a lowbie or two to protect the logging town, well really just the orphanage...perhaps convince some religious group to set up a church there...a low lvl cleric or two should be ok. Otherwise he would have to head back and be its protector.

Bob and Tina like Moonglow, even if he wastes healing on stupid NPC eep-wells. Bob wouldn't mind going back to the burning desert - his arabian is a little rusty. He wants to buy new stuff first, of course. He knows information concerning a dao which could be quite lucrative to the right party....

So the question is -- continue the existing party or begin a new one in Arabia?
I would allow a character to make the journey, but the mechanics are a little bit of a stretch -- it's a several month sea-journey, not commonly done by "white folk".
I can also post any Al Qadim books that folks need...

Some game ideas:
Continue with the current party (after a brief rest in town to reequip and scribe spells and spend gold) in one of the following scenarios: * go back and plunder Thorbardin more for treasure and dwarven secrets * check out one of the two treasure maps the party has found * travel back to Greyhawk, Dyvers, Rauxes, or other major city (remember -- most magical items CANNOT be sold except in such cities and only really large cities will even have alchemical oitments and powders) * get hired based on the heroes' reputations (was already thinking about introducing this plotline) * go looking for Mikhail and the Rod -- this is NOT something that Jo would be cool with (unless Bart was not involved -- she's been given religious instructions to protect the kid from Nereganti priests like him) * look up Gilean and finish searching the dopplegangers' cairn * join / complete the TEE game, which could also involve looking for Mikhail * or some other idea (I'm open, but need a heads up to prep something)
Forge another party -- * in the standard campaign * in Zakhara (Arabian campaign) -- could also have members of the two previous Arabian parties link up * in Kara-Tur (Asian campaign)
But, whichever we wind up doing, it would be nice to find a way to include everyone AND give me a bit of a heads up, so I do more than cobble something together at the last minutes...

Bob could be snatched there by friends of a certain Dao... - He HAS sold it out to the Greyhawk mages.... But Bob would TOTALLY be up for round 2 at Thorbardin as he has a certain red dragon to kill (after a re-equip). Tina can go either way. (!) Or, they both go off to learn new skills and we start a new party.

I was thinking about this today and I should perhaps share some of the ideas that I have in more detail...
For instance, both the North Province (Scotland) and Furyondy (Holy Roman Empire) are looking for adventurers for military missions. Normally, the North Province is too far away for PCs, but the heroes are already most of the way there and you're looking for a major city...Rauxes...? And they fit in well with the greater campaign storyline...
If you stay in the Thorbardin region, then Ray can start playing Marc...and Daj can take Mikhail's place (as we'd already discussed a while back). Oh yes, and there've been damn few non-dwarves in the Halls since the Invoked Devastation and Rain of Colorless Fire...over 1000 years ago...
Both treasure maps directly figure into stuff the DM *wants* to run (talk to me, Adam)...
There's also the (*UNFINISHED*) Temple of Elemental Evil game, which has been languishing for a couple of years. That game would similarly be fair-game for Marc and Daj as well as Dion-the-Brilliant (Gordon), Alec, and several others (ironically, even Mikhail...!)
Oh yeah, and there's one OTHER game that's been languishing for FAR too long...one which has been running for years...and is sorta cool. Shadow Knights... Although, I will admit, it might be a stretch for some of the players...

I have 2 characters in Middle east area, 5th level kensia and a Sea druid. would that work? I like the idea of finishing the TEE game. Marc yeah"only good lizardman is a dead one"

I think the TEE game would suck without some serious cleric/paladin protection/turning. We also need a cleric compatible with the party and a party compatible with each other. Just sayin...

Oh yeah, we need more magic weapons as most of the party we have now can't defend themselves from undead needing +1 or better.

Oh, there are a wide number of OTHER characters around for TEE, although it seems like the players have selected an Arabian game for the moment -- Ray, I think your sea-druid should be low enough level to join...they're all first (except for Eric).
